Life on the Sea

[Fauna]

Lacie sat down and regathered her thoughts. She finally stood up and walked up to the top deck. Lacie stayed out of sight but would join the fight if she had to. She watched as a boy about her age shot someone is the gut. She blinked and thought of James.. He would have shot someone in the gut if he had to.

Ben watched in horror as the man died. He was shocked and amazed. Ben knew a shot from the gun could kill someone but . . . he just wasn't ready

Okuyami charged forward, kicking a dude straight in the chin with her foot,and he charged her, calling up serveral other surrounding her.With a snarl, she spun around, punching and kicking, her limbs whipping around, and only seconds after leaving a spot, a man would fall.Suddenly, there was a gunshot, and a spot of red appeared on her shoulder.

Lacie looked at Okuyami. She saw her shoulder and covered her mouth. She felt some bile raise but it stayed down. Lacie wanted to go over there but she was stuck to floor in a metaphoric manner. The gun Lacie held fell from her hand. The thought of one crew mates getting seriously injured made her sick.

Okuyami snarled and ripped the bullet out, with a cry of rage she swung her sword, diemembering several heads, the blood splattering on her arm and across the deck, she was losing alot of blood.

Lacie grabbed the gun and placed it behind a crate, out of sight, replacing it with a sword she found lying around. She jumped up and joined the fight. She stabbed a navy-man in the stomach and pulled her sword out. She heard the sound of metal swinging down. Lacie swiftly turned and blocked the blade. She forced the other blade toward the other. Lacie looked into the eyes of a older man. She kicked the man in the gut and knocked him out with the handle of the sword.

Thad punched a man in the face for going after Oku while her back was turned. She fired at him and moved on to another opponent.

[Fauna]

Lacie had kicked a man over board and felt a blade slice into her arm. She whipped and stabbed the man. Lacie pulled him knife out of her arm and winced. She kept fighting and ignored her arm. It was just a cut. Okuyami had been shot, this was nothing. Lacie thought and fought at the same time.

Ben ran to Okuyami. "Come! I can help!" she said trying to lead her down the stairs to the supply room. A bullet whised by his ear and he cried out in fear
