Shadow: Dusty, Connor
Once her hood had been slammed shut, it was the signal to her that it was finally over... at least for now. She shook her hood lightly, feeling slightly out of sorts and sneezing again as her engine adjusted. "Ugh... I hate undergoing work... it makes me feel groggy and just... bleugh" She groaned a little, blinking her eyes hard. "Why would I have left you back at that tower? That's the exact sorta thing mother would do and if you haven't already noticed.. I'm not her" She reminded the Corolla, crossing her eyes a little to look at her hood. "Hm... I rub off on everyone.... it's my personality" She snickered for a moment, though raised a tire to place on his side. "Though... thank you. What you did just now.... well you didn't have to do it. At all. Could have just let me... suffer with the trauma I had... So thanks" She smiled lightly, nodding her hood. "You know... mind you, I have no idea where this leaves us after everything you know... Because if you think for a moment you can win me round to join you and mother you have... another thing coming" She said a little more sternly, though lightened her features. "I do think that mother would make you choose.... and should that be the case... what would you do? Knowing that by turning your back.... Mother would hunt you down too" She told the Corolla, a concerned expression on her face.
She glanced up as Dusty approached and nuzzled him very gently back, a slight sigh leaving her. She brushed her hood along his underbelly and closed her eyes for a few moments, taking the moment to enjoy his company and offer him affection. "Mmm somewhat. The immediate effects of any work are of course.... nauseating" She breathed lightly, taking to letting her eyes droop a little as she leaned up against him now, swaying on her tires a little. She perked up a little upon Dusty's next point, frowning a little and reversing away, so she could see his face once more. "You thought Finn and I were.... wait, why? I don't believe anything we were doing was really more than what duty dictated. We weren't acting extra close from what I recall... in fact we were separated more on this mission than we have been in a while" She spoke, tilting her hood. She then smiled lightly at him, giving a small chuckle. "Okay, well... I used to have a rather large crush on him when I first started... he was the hot topic whenever we had classes at CHROME... back in my Academy days, he was the agent to try and impress... It's only really due to the fact that Leland was the one that brought me in that I was able to work with Finn. Finn got to know me through Leland and... well, the rest is history, as they say. Finn was never into romantic relationships from what I ever saw... he's married to his job. He had his wife once... that's all that he really needs I believe." She nodded, before she lifted her hood once more to meet his front in a nuzzle, laying a gentle kiss on his lips. "And I'm rather relieved nothing happened... as then I don't think I would have found you" She murmured to the plane, rubbing against him gently.
Raine: Miles, Doc
The Ferrari was glad she had managed to divert the Branford away from the room, sticking close to his side in an attempt to make sure he was ok. "What that was? That was you... trying to escape your past I guess... only being drawn back toward it" She sighed, though she wasn't sure how accurate she was, only really her opinion. A sudden thought occured to her that perhaps made her shudder a little. If Miles came to depend on her to not slip back to his old ways... what if something happened to her? Who would be there to stop him? If she was taken from in by any means of the word... what would he do? How would he cope? She bit her lip as she thought more, unsure of what to actually think... She glanced to Miles and gave him a reassuring smile, though suddenly didn't know what was best for him. Would it be better for him for her to be distant, so he could still cope but not depend? She didn't like the idea herself... She was always the more affectionate type... when she was with those she cared about at least. So the idea of being more cold and distant... it hurt, but maybe it was what was required to ensure he wouldn't slip back to his old ways should anything happen to her.
"I... well I helped you because... I saw your suffering within my own. I knew what you had gone through.... I.. knew what it was like to not have that support, and I wanted to make sure at least one other didn't go through it alone" She sighed here, thinking back to her talk with him. "At that point... whether I was out to deceive you was irrelevant to me. I knew that another individual was suffering... I wanted to help" She spoke now, looking to her tires and twisting one a little. "I... didn't form an attachment willingly, I will admit. It just sort of... developed without me really checking. I could have... tried to at least stop myself but... I rather liked the feeling... it's a unique thing... developing feelings for someone because suddenly things are different... and I liked it" She admitted finally, glancing up to Miles and smiling lightly again.
She smiled a little wider when he admitted he'd like the same as her, and she couldn't help but feel like she was glowing inside. "I'm glad... I really am... and I don't doubt that we can have that...." She spoke, settling on her tires a little more. "I don't doubt that you will live up to who I want... I chose you after all... what more can I say? That should be enough" She spoke gently, noting him nuzzling her shortly after. She thought about her earlier point of perhaps remaining a bit more distant, though this all fled as he showed her this affection... she couldn't do that... not to him. She returned the nuzzle after a moment, pressing into his side and pushing herself against him to settle, her tires a little splayed to the side. She nested her hood into the side of his and spoke in gentle terms, a light smile on her face. "Just think... a lovely large house... overlooking perhaps a small english town, somewhere like Cornwall, a lovely country place... we'd have our own land, we could have whatever we wanted on it.... perhaps a small Ferrari or Branford zipping round the area... playing and laughing as we watch on....What would you think to that?" She smiled gently, rubbing herself softly on his side.
