Christie sighed and stood up as well. "Fine. Do you need help?" She asked worridly.

I shook my head, getting up and closing the back door. The lock was broken. I started on my way upstairs, glancing back at Christie.

Christie followed him reluctantly. She felt bad about not staying and heping him. She couldn't hep but feel like it was her fault and her guilt showed on her soft expression.

I gently pulled her to my room."Christie, it's alright." I said softly, looking back at her.

Her golden irises focused up on Griffin, seeing that he was watching her. She couldn't tell how worried she was, but hated it when he did worry too much - not because she didn't like it, really, but because she would have preferred him to focus on himself. Annie reached out to set the vixen's body onto the coffee table in front of her as she drew her legs closer, into the fetal position. "Better," She murmured quietly.

When she had felt Darius moving, or at least part of him, she knew he was at least sort-of awake. So, she wondered if he too had felt a bit odd. "Feel anything weird?" Immortal asked softly, although her sentence faded and almost didn't make sense due to her awakening from a deep sleep. Her eyes stayed shut and body close against his.

I didn't answer. I glanced away from her briefly, I didn't believe her... I just wanted her to be okay.. Did she still think I was mad? I hoped not, because I wasn't. I didn't care anymore anyway.

I was silent for a moment. Something did feel wrong, but I didn't know what it could be. The forest was completely silent... The sky was a very dark blue but the sun was coming up. I heard no birds, insects or any other animals. I slowly got up, feeling I have gotten my fill of sleep. I slowly nodded,"Yeah.." I replied quietly.

She knew she wouldn't get away with things after this, that she couldn't talk to Griffin the way she had before, but it was tough. Annie looked up at Griffin then back to the side, her fingers gripping into the leg of her jeans for comfort.

Her ears perked, but for a moment she didn't move - it was always tough, trying to get up right after you had been sleeping. Immortal exhaled gently when Darius got up and slowly pushed herself up, standing straight. She shook out her white coat and glanced around, the eerie feeling giving her a small shiver.

Christie whimpered quietly. "You're hurt again because of me. And I'm pregnant. I don't want you to die and leave our family."

I glanced up at the ceiling before closing my eyes briefly.

"I won't. it would worse for me if you got hurt." I said, sitting on my bed.

I sniffed around a bit before stretching a bit and yawning again.

Christie sighed and sat on the edge of the bed. She lifted up her shirt slightly before picking up his hand. "This is our miracle." She said as she gently pressed his palm to her bare, stretched skin. Her stomach was the warmest part of her body now.
