She wasn't with her foster parents and she had a friend that wasn't backstabber. How nice.

Kora thought for a moment. She loved Emperor's New Clothes, Northern Downpour...
"Hmmm.. Death of a Bachelor is awesoem, but my favorite is Northern Downpour." She then continued to sing, "Hey moon, please forget to fall down. Hey moon, don't you fall down!~" she was extremely content with her new friend, as she didn't have many. As a bonus, she was a Panic! fan!

The entire time he had been eating, he’d been looking around for Undyne. If anyone could help him serve JUSTICE to the people who had hurt and robbed Paps. He was bored, anyways. He was so burnt out her could hardly think of any good puns. Plus, Kora was seemed to be having a normal conversation with a Phoenix girl. Despite himself, he kept casting glances on her direction. He was gradually becoming more certain that Kora wasn’t going to need him to guide her through high school, which only bummed him out. He huffed and payed his head down on the table.
“Hey Paps,” he said,”Do you know where Undyne is?”

Undyne hadn't quite understood Riley's explanation, but at least that punk tried. The fish girl grinned back, showing a mouthful of sharp teeth, before entering the classroom and having to endure this ridiculous torture.
By the time lunch came around, she had heard about what happened to Papyrus. Undyne stormed around the school shoving people out of her way as she searched for Sans.
When she finally found him in the cafeteria, the last place she looked, he was asking Papyrus where she was.
"Behind you," Undyne growled and slammed her fist on the table. Her single yellow eye was ablaze with fury. "There you are. Sans, you ready to play "Dunk the Punk"? I'm gonna beat the hell out of who did this."

Ryse continued to smile and riddled with her flaming hair. "I like that one too." She gazed out the cafeteria doors and felt the smile slowly melt off her face. Which was ironic considering she was made of fire. A small flip phone was buzzing from within her backpack. Her small flip phone to be exact.
Ryse slowly reached into the orange and red pack and pulled her phone out. In small text, the words 'Bane of my Existence' appeared on the small screen. "Hey Kora, hold on...I've gotta get this." Ryse tapped the accept call button and held the phone to her ear. A sudden smile was on her face and her voice sounded cheery. "Oh yeah! It's great here." ... "Uh-huh. I mean, yes ma'am." ... "No."
... ... ... ... Ryse grimaced a little and said with a bit of strain in her voice, "No thank you. I am fine. I don't need him right now." ... "Yeah, you too. Bye."
Ryse shut the phone and stuffed it into her pack with a sigh.

Lots waited while Ryse answered her phone. After a few minutes she came back and sighed. This made Kora worry.
“Are you Ok, Ryse?” She asked softly, concern thick in her voice. Kora startled and fell out of her seat when she heard someone’s fist slam into a table.

Sans jumped when Undyne slammed her fist into the table. When he heard what she said, he grinned, right eye socket burning blue.
