(So do I! Except Lilly's now the closest out of them all to Shadow's heart! Especially since she's going to have a lot of her memory replaced with duplicates of his memories with Anita so she'll think she's his girlfriend.X3 So you might not feel so bad for her now that you know that)

Lilly could almost see the wheels turning in his befuddled brain. shadow was sick, and she knew it. she only hoped he would get better soon. "Yeah. the old dream thief. you don't remember alex then too? she was the leader then ..." this seemed to seal lilly's fears of his illness breaking down memories. at least he was conscious.
Lilly watched his face contort in pain, and she squeezed his arm, hoping to offer some sort of comfort. she never ever ever wanted to see him in pain. the worried look on her face betrayed all emotions inside of her: the hurt, fear, worry, and the love she had for him were being pulled apart as he cried. "i-i-i do-," she struggled to get her words out, for the emotion in her voice was so strong, it choked her for a moment. she had closed her eyes and was struggling to pull herself together and cooly removed when she felt herself being pulled down. her training as an ex-warrior kicked in, and she was about to punch something when she realized it was just shadow. before her eyes could even flash open to get a good look at him, he kissed her, and she felt weak.
and as suddenly as the kiss came, her memories began to slip away. she had no idea, though, because everything shadow pushed into her mind had to make room for itself. memories of him and anita were swapped with memories of lilly being herself. the girl's feelings of him became lilly's, and she started loosing herself to the girl she had no idea existed.
the new girl who thought she was anita pulled shadow closer, and squeezed his hand. "it's okay. i'm never leaving again."


[haha! the tortuuuurrreee! imagine what shadow will put himself through when he figures this out]
[you guys haven't even seen the worst of it yet. lilly will feel so betrayed eventually, she'll do something you guys won't see coming. :D i'm so excited!]

[poor lilly. i think for a while, until she gets her memories back, i'll refer to her as "new anita". it's fun. :)]

(I'm going to reply in a moment, just wanted to like tell you how much I love your posts. Seriously, as I was reading that tears came to my eyes because I was so happy)
(I know...It's fantastic! Yeah...Shadow's going to be just about suicidal...o.O And possibly might run to his brother and ask him to kill him in the most torturous way possible. Alex is going to have to do something about it, like seriously...He's going to kill himself somehow I can just see it if someone doesn't stop him after he finds out what he's done)

(Poor Lilly indeed....Except she can't really get the memories back that were removed. Fay's situation was one thing: Shadow only hid her memories, not fully removed them. For Lilly however, he fully removed them and replaced them. There's no getting back the memories he's destroyed. That's why his actions are so terrible. However Shadow can try and fix what he's done by adding in enough memories of Lilly (as she's talked to him a great deal about her own past I'm sure) to make her more Lilly than new Anita. They wouldn't be exactly the same memories, but he'll try and make them as close to Lilly's utterly lost memories as possible.:3)
((And referring to her as 'new anita' IS fun.))

(LOL, probably not as bad as Damien, but could get close...Maybe as bad as Fate)
((Oh yeah...Shadow's going to be beside himself he'll be so upset. That's probably going to be his first thought when he's cured. Especially if new Anita is right there when he's recovered. ))
