She walked quickly to catch up to Griffin's side, but slowed down to a comfortable pace. Annie's palm pressed to her bleeding shoulder as she gave a quiet whine, but if it would stop the bleeding then she had to ignore the pain. They weren't too far from the house and all she wanted to do was curl up on the couch or in bed.

She felt weaker than ever, from being tired and wounded, and didn't make it very far. Annie laid down on the squishy couch, pressing her cheek against the fabric as she whined softly.

Her golden irises faded darkly, creating a dim ring of gray-yellow around her pupil and slowly spreading outwards. She quietly nodded and exhale, mumbling aimlessly, "Who made vampires?" Her words floated off towards the end of her question as her blinking slowed, as if she were going to pass out or fall asleep.
