She hadn't paid much attention to other tributes during training, and hadn't even bothered watching their interviews. She could watch them after she won. "oh crap-" mason spun around at the sound of a voice. his face flushed, and his hands went up in a defensive position. he took a step back, then quickly crouched down to grab his trident. he held it out, aiming at the other two tributes. "of course i can fight!" mason could not fight. in training he paid attention to survival, because it interested him more. he'd thought he could hide out until the end, and then fight the last tribute. obviously that didn't work out.

Cassia chuckled at Mason's attempt to be intimidating, but his trident didn't scare her. "Alright then, I guess we'll find out." She snickered, lunging at the boy with her double sided axe towards his legs. If she landed the blow it wouldn't kill him, after all she was like a cat who liked to toy with her prey.
