Oskar - Tags: Rush
"I... I don't know! But I want answers!" Oskar responded angrily. "NO ONE has the right to aimlessly kill others! No one! I know you're rattled... I am too... but we need to look at this for what it was... a blatant terrorist action or some such thing! Maybe there was motivation behind it... I don't know... I just know I'll be d***** if I'm going to let some lunatics destroy others' lives!" He insisted heartily. "I will fight to protect others because I... I wasn't fighting before..." He said this last part with a hint of sorrow in his voice. Sure he'd fought to protect German civilians but... only partly. He had no idea others were being exterminated behind his back... he never would've fought for such atrocities if he had!
"Herr Rush... I am going to land now I think... we should get back to the town..." He stated, his heart heavy with what had just occurred. "I'm going to try and help the clean up and do what I can." He banked towards the airstrip, gliding in. He still had some fuel leftover, but no real reason to use it up right now. Best just get on the ground... and assess what he could do. Lowering his skid, he touched down, sliding along the ground until he came to a halt, and started to hop as best he could over to his dolly, which was sitting by the side of the runway...
Dusty - Tags: Horah
"I just... I don't understand..." Dusty said mournfully, shuddering as he sobbed a little. "I... why would ANYONE... do this?" he asked, looking about him again at the bodies. "This doesn't make sense! What did that mean? We become you... when red replaces... blue?" Dusty asked, looking up here. "Sounds like a nursery rhyme. What does it even mean?" he wondered aloud. "I don't get it... why would anyone kill over something like that?" he asked, sighing heavily. "It's all so... pointless..."
He blinked here, inhaling sharply. "I better make sure everyone's all right..." including Skipper he didn't add. "So uh... I-I guess..." he began rolling around aimlessly. "Does that rhyme mean anything to you?" he asked curiously. "It means nothing to me... at least I don't think it does."
Blade - Tags: Otter
"Yeah... all right..." Blade agreed, lowering his gear and touching down next to Otter. "Heh... you have good ears... I was... I was peppered a bit back there by missile fragments. Nothing too serious... at least I don't think. I have no idea what happened!" he said, looking around him now. "Some whackos began firing at Dusty and the rest of the crowd! I have no idea what it means! None! Terrorist act maybe... maybe they were targeting Dusty but... it seemed like a general attack. But why here? There's nothing here! Only Dusty... and a small time airshow seems like an odd choice to launch an attack over..." Blade pointed out.
"Anyway... it's... it's over now." he said, panting a little. "They're all gone or dead or whatever... they're not a threat anymore. Jeez! I've never... I've NEVER been shot at... or even close to being in an explosion from a missile! This... this is just unreal!" he said, eyes wide as he tried to study the rest of the town, though the bleachers were mostly in the way. "How about you? You come out OK?" he asked now, looking the F-18 over.
Finn - Tags: Spray
"Ahhh, FBI! Well then, may as well tell you... I'm..." Finn lowered his voice here and spoke directly to Spray. "Agent Finn McMissile, British Intelligence." he said softly. "We're on the same side." He flashed some credentials via a holographic projector in his wing mirror before closing it before others could see. "I'll tell you what I know..." He looked from left to right. "We were supposed to track a dangerous group of terrorists that was congregating here for unknown reasons. We thought it might be nothing but... apparently it wasn't. This attack caught us COMPLETELY by surprise, all right? Completely. There was NO chatter beforehand of ANYTHING that would indicate an attack like this would be taking place on US soil... and given you had the day off... I sincerely doubt any of you were aware of it either. The mysterious thing about this is... these terrorists have never worked with each other before... and had no reason to do so before this either. They're all from completely different ideological backgrounds and beliefs! So... we're playing catch up I'm afraid. By the way, did you catch what was said just now to that firefighter plane over there?" Finn asked, motioning with his eyes in Dusty's direction.
"I'd be happy to hear any theories you have regarding this attack... or any intelligence you might know." he added.
Mysterious Car - Bluff Outside Propwash Junction - Tags: No One
On a bluff a few miles away that looked down upon Propwash Junction, an odd car stood gazing down at the town with a smile. He was an older looking vehicle, perhaps from the 20s or 30s, and his body was an off-white color with maroon trim. His exact model was a 1929 Peerless, not the British kind but the American one. "Well now... this experiment was a dismal failure... never expected so many... talented individuals in one spot. Still... I can't complain... death was brought about either way... and I'll be better prepared next time." He looked up to the sky, still smiling as he began reciting what sounded like some poem. "While the moon still shines blue... within a few months it will turn to scarlet hue! And then... my mission... will be complete." Smirking, he turned away from the town. It mattered not that it had been spared... soon they'd all be dead... and they would be ascendant. Starting himself up, he began driving down a solitary road that led away from the town... his work far from complete... this was only the beginning.
