Ariel looked at Belle. 'Rafts, really?' she asked herself. "Sorry, can't say I've had much experience with making rafts, or anything really." she said, shrugging off her stunned expression. 'We'll need wood won't we, that floats I think, though the only trees I can see are on the other side of this river." she said, annoyed. Walking around she found an old plank, around the size of her arm. "Would this work?" she asked. We might be able to find more of them buried in the sand, they look like parts of shipwreck." she said, remembering things from when she was younger.

Tod staggered up. "Don't worry, I'm fine, I think." he muttered, gritting his teeth as the sand stung his eyes. Tod took in what Vixey was saying. "Could the fish withstand the salt? he wondered. "Because I don't think much would be able to live in salt..." he said, trailing off again. As they walked towards the ocean he found that the water was icy cold, so he splashed some in his face to get the sand out. "Oww! he yelled. "Now the salts hurting my eyes! he complained, now rubbing his eyes with his wet, salty hands, only increasing the stinging in his eyes. "I really need to work this awkward body better, why couldn't we just be foxes, like we usually are? he said, thinking that he would never get used to everything.

Belle thought for a moment, then finally made a small nod.
"If we can find more of those, then they might work." she smiled.
Belle then started to walk around and picked up as many of those planks she could find. Then she placed them in a small pile. She wanted to keep them in this pile so that she may see what they were working with.
After Belle picked several more up she started to think up how they were going to make this 'raft' of sorts. It wasn't going to be to big, only fit for two. It had to be strong enough to last going across the river. It had to be sturdy.
If I was my father... what would I do? she thought.

Marie is a young kitten, about a year old. She is a little girl, and is in the movie "The Aristocats".
Marie believes herself to be quite the little lady, and so tries to mimic the elegance and propriety of her mother, Duchess. As a result, she can be somewhat prissy and spoiled, and is quick to tattle on her brothers when things don't go her way.

Although Marie makes an effort to appear ladylike, she does enjoy the occasional tumble with her beloved siblings.

A hopeless romantic and daydreamer, Marie frequently is seen lost in her thoughts and sighing deeply.

She also appears to be somewhat danger-prone, as she is consistently in harm's way throughout the movie. This may be because either her head is up in the clouds, or because she is the kitten who has had the least practice "biting and clawing", and thus the least capable of fending for herself in the wild.

Her fur is a grey white and she has pale blue eyes. A pink ribbon is tied round her neck every day, a poofy bow showing at the back. A tuft of hair atop her head is tied with a tiny pink ribbon with a miniscule bow at the front. Her favorite color, naturally, is pink, and that is a part of her stereotypical girliness.
In human form, Marie has sleek white hair in a scene style that goes down to her waist. Her hair is dip-died a pale pink, the same color as her bow. She still has a pink bow ontop of her head, and mainly wears pink, white and blue. Her eyes are bright blue. In human form, she is 16 years old.
