With an unsure nod, Danika took the basket and set it out before helping Aasiyah arrange the other things. "This looks really good... Hey, this sort of relates to my question. Why were the training sessions cancelled? I sort of planned on getting out my energy tonight." She reached up to scratch her forehead and accidentally pulled off the scab from the cut over her left eye. It began bleeding again, but she didn't really notice or care.

Ignoring the protests from Danika, Aasiyah gently blotted her wound with a towel and sprinkled a healing powder onto it. As the bleeding stopped she walked over to an iron bench and sat. Patting the seat next to her, Aasiyah began to explain.
“Freak decided since tempers and rumors of a revolt have been spreading that you and the others need an evening to clear everything up; to calm down and clear your heads. Freak cares for all of you in his own twisted way.” She smiled as Danika appeared shocked at how she spoke of Freak.
“If you really want to be put through a session then I can make that happen. But I’ve been told by the guards that you have been fidgeting, so I thought you would enjoy having free air to stretch your wings.”

(If I seem rude, I'm sorry, but I feel slightly like you're god-modding a wee bit... Like, assuming my character will act a certain way or what-not... maybe I'm just crazy since it's also 3 in the morning.)

She nodded her head. "I see. Well the break is nice, but I've been feeling... weird. Like, it's not just regular energy, but it's more like almost electricity building up inside me or something. I just wanted to be able to use up my energy and like, beat up a punching bag or something. Nothing really structured, you know?"

She tried her best to be civil with Aasiyah. The girl was weird but hey, she was nice, even if it was mostly to Freak. "Hold on one sec, I'm going to grab an apple." With that she stood, walking over and grabbing one, quickly and discreetly wiping away the healing powder. It burned her forehead. She returned and took a bite out of the apple and tried to chew quietly, though she wasn't used to it.

Daniel heard him out as he stared at his hand. The writhing flames seemed to have a calming effect as he gazed steadily into their center. As Asher watched, the flames lost their intensity until they died completely. Finally Daniel snapped his attention back to him and shook his outstretched hand. The other boy's skin was exceptionally warm to the touch, which hardly surprised him.
“I guess that mean this will be a bit of a wild ride for the both of us mate,” Spoke Daniel, a mischievous smirk splayed across his face. Then for a moment, a shadow passed the other's face. Asher wondered what Daniel was really thinking, but then again, maybe he didn't want to know. Asher dropped Daniel's hand, letting it fall to his side. He thought about what the current situation was, and summed up the situation.
"So currently we're stuck with no means of escape, no other allies, and in danger of being found together. And guards should be making rounds soon." An oddly surprised look crossed Daniel's usually calm face. Asher had assumed that Daniel had already memorized the guard's paths and shifts as he had. Then again, the look Daniel was giving him proved otherwise. And Asher had been with Freak for 9 years, whereas Daniel had been here for 6. He only shrugged and scratched his head before he continued on, "I kinda memorized the guard schedules..." Asher smiled sheepishly. "They should be coming soon... So maybe we should head back to the cages..." He grimaced.

The man on the bed didn't remember Aasiyah leaving the room. He didn't remember much at all. Freak sat up groggily in the bed he had been layed on. The room began to spin as he tried to remember where he was. The pounding in his head had subsided, but it had left behind a dull ache. His hands floated up to his forehead and began to rub his temples, trying to get the last of the migrane to dissapate. "Need a doctor. . ." he mumbled. He was speaking his thoughts aloud again. But he was too weak to care.
Freak stood on shakey legs and walked over to a window, gazing out at his creatures. It appeared that Aasiyah let them out again. Probably because he couldn't do the testing and training session today. He shoved his hands deep into the pockets of his pants, trying to disappear into them. If his health kept worsening, all of this could disappear. Everything he worked for could vanish. Unless someone like Aasiyah kept it running, which he doubted she would. Besides, without him, there would be no reason to keep them here. Even Aasiyah had no knowledge of his plan. The plan he would stay up late at night thinking about. The plan that had been brewing for 7 long years inside of him. If he were to die with no one having knowledge of it, then the world would continue to suffer. All of his effort would have been wasted. And all of the creatures would have suffered for nothing.
The thought scared Freak. His tired brain began to work through the few possible options it found to fix the issue. It found only one good solution: tell Aasiyah. His mind decided to take immediate action, lifting his foot off the ground. But before he could move, voices began to echo through the worker's room. He began to try to discover who they belonged to, his feet sarting to move in their general direction.
Freak didn't know how they managed to get out, but there they were. Daniel and Asher were standing next to each other, conversing quietly. Freak clenched his hands into fists, ready to punch Daniel. It was enough that he had him to deal with, with his talk of a rebellion. But now Asher seemed to be teaming up with him. And he already had Danika on his side. He groaned and shook his head, trying to keep another migrane from coming.
Freak was well hidden from the two boys. Even if he spoke, it would take a while for them to realize his location. His cloak and mask blended in well with the black wall. "Isn't it a bit too early for escaping, boys?" he asked, his words echoing across the room. He tightened his fists, preparing for a fight. They probably wouldn't go back willingly.

Watching as it seemed to take a while before one of them dropped their hand he noticed that just mere seconds after Asher had dropped his hand that the large flames that had covered his arm before had reappeared. Tilting his head down to look at his hand he raised an eyebrow as he hadn’t really been expecting the flames to take over so quickly. It made him fear a little that his control over the flames weren’t as good as he thought they were.

Listening as Asher seemed to cover the basics of their situation he looked at the door seeing if anyone was there or not. “Then we better get out of here and make sure that no one catches us hooligans out here, either way if the guards did come he couldn’t go to lead on the fact that we had been talking. We would have to do something that would lower suspicion. Fight? Sleep It really depends on what you prefer to do” Daniel muttered thinking about the guards for a few minutes before looking between Asher and the door. “Or do you have another plan in mind?” He asked a little curiously. Over the time that they had been talking her could hear very faint murmurs that seemed to travel down the hallway. What he had gathered from them was that Freak seemed to be in some type of pain and Assiyah had gone and taken him to his room, it might prove useful but he knew that inside something wasn’t going to do well. It was a shame there were guards around the building but you couldn’t really argue with anything along the lines of how many guards there were. “If we head back to the cages it would be time for testing, something that doesn’t sound that pleasing. That could be useful – the guard schedules, I tried doing that but eventually gave up since I couldn’t seem to remember them that well” Daniel replied, he had nearly memorized the buildings and the halls but the key word was nearly.

Hearing the sudden voice that came out of nowhere Daniel tensed a little before looking around and trying to pinpoint the exact location of the owner. He could feel the rise in heat of the flames that were dancing across his arms but it only made it a little more tempting to start touch someone or something. “I would say it was a little late don’t you think? Probably 6 years to late” Daniel muttered his eyes scanning the walls that were behind Asher. He would cover for Asher and them if they did happen to get caught, it was simple he could just say that Asher was talking to him about him burning Aasiyah.
