"Here? At the cabin?" Alix looked at her with a measure of disbelief. Her eyebrows shot skyward. Knowing James, he probably offered to let her stay here. Problem was, the only spare bed was in Alix's room. She sighed, then nodded. Of course the newest pack member wouldn't have a bed. She just ran away. Alix tapped her pen twice against her notepad, thinking. "Okay, fine. I suppose you're my roommate then." She said with finality. "C'mon. I'll show you to your room." She glanced back over her shoulder, spotted Aden, and grinned. "Hey Aden, new pack member." She called, gesturing towards Rael.

Meghan Wolfbane

As Aden told them of the boy Anthony, Meghan listened with interest while he warned them away. Her instincts told her there was more than just a man who wanted to hurt them. She had been locked in those eyes in what seemed like forever, but they were not eyes of a killer...they reminded her more of a hunter. As Aden spoke she cast her thoughts back to a distant memory. Back to where she used to hunt with her Grandpa when her mom was still around. They had been out on one of her grandpa's "Training Sessions" for her but really she just called it bonding time. They were chasing after a puma, even though her grandpa insisted it was something else, what else could it be but that? Once they had finally tracked the creature and cornered it the beast had turned and stared at them with the exact same look. The look to kill, to hunt, to feed... Her grandfather had remarkably killed the creature with just his bare hands and hunting knife but at least he was able to slay it and save both their lives that night. Her attention was brought back to Aden while she sipped at her milk and listened intently. Thinking about her grandpa made her miss him more and she longed to be back in his presence instead of here.

Aden Kross

Aden saw the look Marie gave as she asked if Anthony was a killer. In his mind, yes, the man was a killer of humans. Or could be. He had never seen the man eat another human since their diet was mainly of deer, but there would always be that one human they craved to kill. He darted his eyes to the both of them and knew Anthony was in the room "Of course hes a killer. Just stay away from him and he won't hurt you." He looked casually away with his arms crossed and leaned back in his chair. Giving Mary and Meghan a glance as the bell rang overhead. It did not take long to finish the rest of the day and for the final bell to ring. Personally he was glad and wasted no time in leaving the compass and rushing out into the woods. Now that he had warned the two, hopefully they would know better to just stay away. He was by now starving and hungered for game, as the shape of the cabin peered through the woods and he quickly made his way in through the back.

Mary Norman

Mary furrowed her eyebrow at Aden and frowned a little. That's creepy. She thought and looked around while finishing her food. As the lunch bell rang she walked off to her last few classes and left with her books in her hands. The blonde pushed past her near the street, almost knocking her over into the road. She could have growled and ripped the girls sun bleached hair right out of her pretty little head but she instead rolled her eyes and fixed her back pack. Some people. She thought smugly and looked both ways before crossing the street.

James had made it inside when Alix realized that the new member would share the room with her. "Rael, we can get you some clothes tomorrow. All of you, get ready for the hunt tonight." He said and closed the door behind him until noticing Aden coming to the door. He kept the door ajar and left the kitchen to the front door to hang up his coat. "We will be hunting soon, to welcome in the new member." He said to Aden then looked to him.

**Rael eyed Aden curiously from across the room, trying to take in and remember each scent of her new pack members** Hello. **she tried to act polite to the Beta, feeling his intensity between him and James.**

James looked towards Rael as she eyed the Beta. "Hes not to bad." He whispered into her ear so that Aden's ears wouldn't catch what he had said to her. He looked at the time in the kitchen and moved away from the new member to enter the living room.
