Destiny's Child101 wrote:Yu slept peacefully. But her body wasnt doing so great. She started to cough. She held on slightly tighter onto Kahen's fur, feeling her chest tighten. If her eyes were open, you would see them start to turn a brilliant crimson color. This only seems to happen when she feels a great deal of negative emotion.
Kahen felt the way the girl's lungs breathed, she hissed slightly, ears back, displaying in a sort of cat like way, that she disliked it, Kahen tried to shake the feeling, but a feeling of dread started to form a knot in her stomach, the girl wasn't well, and since she knew the disease was extremely contagious at some point, Yu probably got it from Mark when he was contagious; the little girl had the same disease, she was going to die, and since she was a child, the disease would affect her quicker than an adult that got it at the exact same time Yu got it, since her body was smaller than an adults, that was the problem with children, usually their smaller bodies meant that they got sicker quicker.
Fur bristling, not liking how the girl was sleeping at all, she realised that Mark would be very upset if he found out she was sick, as that would mean he was the cause of it, but the girl had to be looked over, to make sure she was ok for now, Kahen tried to figure out how she could do that, without alerting Mark and causing the guy more distress and making his mental state more unstable.

((I've never actually seen one, but looking them up on the internet, they look amazing.))
Claudia scoffed, "All that non-organic stuff makes me sick. It must be nice to have good, homegrown, food."
"Wow. So much I didn't know. Well, I guess I'll figure it out, now that I know it's possible. But that's sad. I really thought that those would go well with Huhnon. Don't worry about teaching me now. Maybe later. And there are places that sell plants? How many acorns do they cost?" She spoke, curiosity in her voice.
"Yeah. You'd think that police would be less involved with the law and more with the environment," Claudia joked, "But... I knew him well. He was kinda like an outside informant for me. He thought I was with some sort of secret agency. But then he got suspicious. And.... He had to forget years of his life. Post-traumatic amnesia, they called it."
She paused and added, "I think he was my first non-native, non-thief, friend. But even they'll throw you out eventualy. Or that's how it worked at home. All about status... I was almost what you would call a queen once. Then my friends set me to float and gave me to a group of seamen who wanted to examine me, since I killed a few of their men. Still, mistrust was never something I was good at. I always thought I'd be able to fix anything with my strength."
Claudia looked up from her fire and smiled, "Looks good."
She watched as the fire flared, and Mirro dropped one of the Huhnon into the fire. She laughed, "I thought you said you'd never delt with this fruit before? How'd you know to cook it like this? Although, you normaly put it on a stake first..."
Claudia snatched the fruit out of the fire. She grabbed a nearby stake and stabbed it into the Huhnon, which appeared to be expanding and bursting the apple-like skin. She put it over the fire, like a marshmelow.
(Seen one of what?)
"Yeah, especially when you're used to the organic stuff, it does sort of make you sick for a bit, just shows how bad the common stuff at the shops is. Tastes lots better, and is a lot better for you, to have organic, home grown food."
Miiro was suprised at how naive Claudia was to tendering and caring for different plants, to not know a basic thing like cuttings....She had thought that since he girl lived in the forests, well out in the wild most of the time, that she'd have a vast knowledge on plants, but apparently not so.
"Things don't grow overnight, even if you managed to successfully cultivate a sage cutting or a basil cutting, it'd still be at least a couple of months before either plant was anywhere near ready to be used."
Her hand moved, but she stopped the action, she had been about to facepalm because that was just....
There wasn't a word to describe what Claudia said....Her large amount of ignorance to things was a kind way to put it.
Nezumiiro managed to successfully, but only just, keep the tone out her voice that people automatically use when addressing young children or perhaps baby animals.
Though keeping that sort of tone out of her voice was difficult.
"They don't cost any acorns, they cost money. Why don't I take you shopping after we'd packed your stuff up, and put it away in Dream base."
"Though not ordinary shopping, we'd be only going to gardening centres, shops that sell plants." just to clarify that she certainly wasn't going to go through a nightmare of shopping for clothes or the like, not that she dislikes shopping, but Miiro did find it a tad tedious, but shopping for plants is always exciting, it doesn't feel like shopping at all, more like wandering between worlds by taking a couple of steps, and being able to reach many places in the world all at once, without much effort at all, she really enjoyed the fun plants brought to shopping, Miiro did.
Hearing Claudia's explanation she could tell she cared for him, a lot, but she wasn't sure if it was just friendship caring like he was family at one point or in another way sort of caring, she decided it was most likely the former because Claudia didn't seem hung up about it enough.
"Status is nothing, friendship gained by status is nothing too most of the time. True friends will walk in when the rest of the world walks out." The secound sentence she knew she'd quoted it from a quote she'd read from somewhere, but she couldn't remember where she'd read it from, nor who said it first, but it didn't really matter, it was a good thing to say she'd found, she can worry about finding the actual quote later, as Miiro disliked taking credit for things others had done, she'd have to find the quote now so that she can say who said it first.
"And that's horrible, the people you'd been with all your life, your friends and family, tossing you away like a piece of garbage, what is wrong with them?!" she didn't really realise that she'd raised her voice a bit, how Claudia had been treated made Nezumiiro angry.
Though she had to admit that Claudia's thoughts of strength being able to fix anything was dead wrong.
"I-I haven't, it was an accident....I was suprised when the fire flared, and I jumped, and one of them fell away, and just happened to roll into the fire...I'm sorry." even though she now knew that it was meant to be cooked like that, and that gave her relief, she still felt bad about dropping it in the first place.
Though she had a mental little giggle in her head at how it looks similar to toasting a marshmellow.

(What's adorable? The bird?)
(She just finds Fay really annoying.:3)
Rolling her eyes at Fay she ignored the girl, finding her too pathetic to look at even, Clairna didn't like her, she wished she'd die already from the disease, but that wasn't going to happen, since Damien would probably have to die first before Fay did, and Clairna couldn't allow that.

Mark
He rolled his eyes, "Whether it's contagious or not depends on the level of disease. She could have been at a different level than me, I had no way of knowing that."
He stuck his younger out at her, "I didn't start it, she was postponing finding the cure."
Mark shrugged, "Can you stop it with the voice of reason brohah?"
The boy nodded, "That's the one."
"This time she's dealing with one of the largest groups of thrives on the world, she'll find we're a bit tougher."
((lol))
((:3))
((XDD))
He shook his head, "Only a couple of them, and they can be fought back easily." ,the albino nodded, agreeing with her.
Damien watched her heal his arm, moving his fingers afterwards to test it. He frowned at Clairna's statement, "Yes, you do, and you are." ,the albino looked her in the eye, "Don't beat yourself up over it alright?"
((true true))
He smiled lightly, "I don't think so, Savanah and I were doing a pretty good job of keeping you busy."
((It doesn't and he'll react the same way as if he wasn't))
((Yep!))
Fur still bristling, and ears still laid flat back, the tiger was holding back on growling, Yu's breathing was upsetting Kahen, "That's true." she found it very amusing when he stuck his tongue out at her, like a little kid's reaction, maybe that's why he was well suited to looking after Yu because he was childish.
Rolling her eyes she said, "Well you should've realised that if Damien is sick, and she can't heal him herself, she would do whatever it takes to get the cure, even a baby would notice that she would at least try and find the cure, only a true fool would think that her surface play-ups were what she was really thinking. If you were smart, you'd have started to walk away, and she would've followed still playing up on the surface, but following all the same, you can't use words to get her to come wherever you want her to go, you just go, and if she has interests in whatever it is, she'll usually follow." Kahen was starting to find that he was missing out on the obvious, though she had to grudgingly admit that probably only a couple of dreams realised Clairna was like that so Mark wasn't too badly off.
"I don't know."
(I don't know what to reply with for that sentence...XD What does 'brohah' mean for one thing?)
She couldn't help it, she growled upon hearing that it was
that disease, which probably upset Yu more than anything else, Kahen growling that is, Kahen had to calm down, but it was hard when a dying girl(though she'd take at least a week or two before she actually died) is on your back, and you can feel every part of her diseased body, she was suprised she hadn't noticed before, but her surroundings were sort of distracting, and she relied on her nose more than anything, but her nose was useless in this sort of situation, too many richly strong smells hanging about, so she couldn't smell any of the signs that meant someone was sick.
"You have a point there." she said quietly, trying to calm herself down by staring out the window nearby.
Looking down at the ground she didn't feel like she deserved anything, when Damien looked into her eyes, she gave him a nervous smile, and said, "Ok," but her eyes clearly spelled that she didn't agree with that 'ok'.
Relieved though when she heard she hadn't hurt the only lead on getting the cure, but she glanced over to Savannah and saw the damage on the girl once more, she had sort of forgotten that Savannah was badly hurt, "I'm sorry to you too..." she said mournfully, drastically upset that she'd hurt not only Damien, but those precious to him.
"I can heal those wounds." she said, wanting, yet dreading to ask how Savannah had gotten wounds like that.
Though she was torn between whether she should go get that idiot Desmond
was that his name? to wake up and show her how to make the cure or whether she should make sure everyone was ok, and heal Savannah up too, she wanted to go find the cure to the disease, but she didn't want Savannah to become ill from blood loss and she wanted to see what other damage she had done, though that wasn't really a smart idea because that made her weaker a little bit, and her other side a little stronger, so perhaps going to get the cure first was better for everyone....Clairna was sort of lost as to what to do....
