Alice followed alongside the team. She ran her fingers through her jet black hair as she listened to the gentle footfalls as they walked along. She briefly closed her bright green eyes. She walked on the outside of the group of people, alone, as she normally was. The sun warmed her shoulders as she walked along in silence. She glanced around at the others. They all had some modification. She had the blood of a cat as well as that of a human. Others were different. They were hunting creatures that threatened humans. The creatures were modified, just as she was. She shivered slightly although it was warm out. She turned hearing someone on the team call out. She jogged over [color=#800080]"What happened?" She asked her face paling even more than it already was.

She turned to Dominic and grabbed his glove and wrapped it around the cuts in his arm. Her blue eyes were clouded with concern as she wiped the dirt from his cuts, "This will stop the bleeding." Re said shortly, not wanting to worry Dominic about his wounds. She heard a faint russling from the trees. She was certain that someone was there.

Sisi was about to pull herself to her feet and run over to where Dominic was being surround by concerned on looking when something stopped her. It was a slight tugging feeling in the pit of her stomach. Most would have thought it ment they ate something that was not totally agreeing with them but, her face paled a bit at the feeling. Please no, please not now she begged silently. She had not had an attack for four months but, in the center of her abdomen she could feel what felt like a lead cannon ball starting to take form. Taking a few moments to store away her rifle she used the time to draw in a few deep calming breaths and decide what she should. The attack would take effect till later, not that the waiting was easy, and since the team had more pressing things to worry about she opted not to tell team. Going over to Dominic she said "That's a pretty nasty cut do you think you have enough bandages?" she avoided touching the wound since she had no desire to get an acid burn.

"Re, careful," Dominic said when she wrapped his glove around his arm. He always got nervous when people touched him and he always felt really bad when he burned people. He winced slightly when the fabric touched the cut. He half expected a hole to form in the fabric, but he remembered that this glove was one of the few things his blood wouldn't eat through.
He looked at Sisi,
"I think so," he said, "But I'll probably have to restock when we get to the city."
With trembling fingers he shifted his pack off his shoulders and started rooting around with one hand for a roll of gauze.
"Well, at least now if any animals try to attack me they'll just get burned," he said, trying to make light of the situation.

Farah surveyed the area, looking out for more Eagles, luckily it seemed that was the only one. She looked at Alice when she asked what happened,
"What do you think just happened?" she growled, gesturing stiffly at the dead Eagle. She shook her head, feeling bad for snapping at Alice like that. But the words were out now, there was no changing that.
"Dress you're wound and let's keep moving," she said. She flicked her eyes towards a rustling noise but ignored it. She hoped that this wouldn't slow them down. Like Sisi had said, they needed to get to the city before nightfall. The prairie was a dangerous place to be at night.

Alice winced nodding sitffly. She didn't mean to pry, she was just curious about what had happened. She stood there awkwardly watching then unsure of what to do. She ran her fingers through her jet black hair sighing softly. The sun warmed her shoulders as if an attempt to comfort her but she shook it off not wanting to be comforted or even happy. Someone was hurt and yet she did not feel there was anything she could do. She listened for any noise, any hint of another predator, but all there was was a rustling. Just silence except for the small rustling in the bushes.

"Good, good." Sisi said a bit distracted. She kept shifting her feet waiting for Dominic to finish bandaging his cut. The cannon ball in her stomach weighed heavily in her but it was still only at stage one. This was the one positive that the attack always came In three parts. At first it was just a solid heavy weight in her stomach, followed by the weight seeming to grow spikes and dig into her abdomen, the last part was that the whole things seemed to catch fire boiling her insides. Generaly the affect left her curled up on the ground in pain.
"We ready to go?" she said her voice slightly stiffer than normal. Looking towards the sky she gated that the sun was just starting on it's downward track towards the horizon.

"Yeah, I'm good," Dominic said. He wrapped the gauze around his wound tight and thick. He could hear a soft hiss as his blood ate though the first layer. It always made him nervous, but he'd learned quickly how much gauze to use if he didn't want his bandage falling off.
"Let's go," he said. He looked at Sisi, "You ok?"

Farah nodded when Dominic said he was good. She waved her arm forward, signalling for the rest of the group to follow. She looked at the sun. They still had an hour before it really started to get dark, but even with that she wasn't sure they'd make it. She hoped they would. They had to, or they were in for a long night.

[color=#808080]Alice nodded looking at Farah and began at a walk after her. The prairie was dangerous at dark and she did not want to hang around to see it. She was silent as she walked along, staring at her feet. Even though she could not see them, she knew approximately where everyone was due to her hearing. She listened to the gentle footfalls as they walked along. She sighed softly. She didn't enjoy being out in the open, where any predator could swoop in and attack them, she preferred the forest, where she could hide. She felt bare and exposed out in the open in the prairie.

He quickly ran from the bush under a hill and brushed the dirt and leafs from his coat. He started running towards the group from the bottom of the hill, making it look like he had just appeared rather than the bushes. His stern, green gaze landed on Farah, who he suspected was the leader, "I saw you guys a fight off one of the Eagles, I was down by the river when I saw your group." He nodded, a gun was attached to his belt and a long sword was hanging in it's case over his shoulder. [color=#BFBF40]"I have a place you can rest... Don't mind the people around here, they're always suspicious of newcomers."[/color]

"Yes I'm fine." Sisi said with a tight smile. She felt a bit better once they started walking consentrating on just putting one for in front of another. Suddenly the soft padding of feet caught her attention and in a flash the main body of her sniper rifle was in her hands. She was really not in the mood for any more fighting but if this guy was and Agent then there could be trouble. No lowering her gun she cast a gaze at Farah wondering what she would do.
