Nuri--The Lost Child of Talkur
Nuri soon came upon a beach concealed from the heat of the sun by a rock overhang and the remnants of huts nearby. She saw a single week old fire pit, telling her someone had been here recently. Despite the lack of sun, Nuri found that her moisture was evaporating. She saw the shoreline of the ocean, sure it was a hallucination. She didn't know that the desert had water. The hallucination could be happening because she was famished. She hadn't eaten a decent meal for a day and a half now. Maybe she could find something in there..and she could get some moisture onto her skin.
She headed out to the shoreline, wading in. Once she was neck deep, she dived under, swimming and looking about, wondering what animals were in this ocean. Her guide swimming beside her, soon separated to go catch food for the both of them.
Nuri turned her head to watch her Oborokym hunt, while she still swam. Not seeing where she was going because she was too occupied watching her guide hunt, she ran right into a rock, her head takingnmost of the impact. Her vision went blurry as she began to sink and slip into unconsciousness.
The Oborokym soon finished hunting and returned to where he had left Nuri. Seeing her sinking with her eyes closed, it began to panic. He caught her, pulling her along with him, until he reached a damp cave. He pushed her up and into the entrance of it, staying nearby, waiting for her to wake up again, like he had done the first time. If she ever did wake up.
