Ambipom wasn't phased much by the presence of the Typhlosion given that he had been around Gold's since the beginning. He had been one of Gold's first Pokemon though he had been only a Aipom back then. It had been a long eight years since the two had first met, but it was obvious Gold's personality had rubbed off on the Pokemon more so than it had on the others given their close bond. Nonetheless as Nike began to sniff him and drop down into a playful stance, the normal type stopped swinging the cue around. Even though a Typhlosion wasn't a rare sight for him, it was unusual for Gold's to ever try to play with him. Preparing to swing the cue at the fire type, Gold quickly swooped in and snagged the cue from his Pokemon to assure it didn't harm the other with it. "How many times do I gotta tell ya this ain't a weapon, bud? Sure I might have hit Silver with it a couple times and Kris might have hit me with it once or twice, but that doesn't mean you can do that," he scolded. Shrinking the cue back down, he stuffed it back into his pocket before taking his hat from his partner's head next. "Behave, okay?" The Ambipom nodded at his trainer before looking back toward Nike and balling the two hands on his tails into fist before putting them out in front of himself as if preparing to play fight.

Quickly running his fingers through his messy hair, Gold put his hat back on before looking toward Erika as she spoke to him. "We're splitting into groups to cover more ground." It didn't necessarily answer where they would be going but it did remind him that he needed to figure out groups. He hated that the lead seemed to be placed on him, but he'd have to accept it for now. Looking around, he noticed one trainer take off into the forest already. There wasn't much he could do about it though. He figured he should stick to the plan on how the groups would be divided out, but he had a different idea. "Alright everyone. We're going to split up from here to cover more ground. This location will be our base and when it gets dark we will meet back here and set up camp. Do not go off on your own. So partner up and travel together." It wasn't much of a plan at all. Typical of him, but it was how he felt it made it feel more like an exploration that way. Receiving a look from Caitlyn the Johto champion gave her an innocent smile before moving to Ho-oh. The legendary seemed unamused with him as well.

You are a reckless on Gold. I suppose that is how you have gotten to where you are now though. I suggest leaving me out and allowing trainers to call for me if trouble arises that they cannot deal with or if they need a way back to this location at night, the bird mused. Giving a small nod, Gold gave the legendary a pat on the head.

"Ho-oh will be surveying the skies overhead so if you need its help, I suppose just scream for it," he said with a light shrug. There really was no way that he had of summoning the bird from a distance. Besides, he doubted he would have much need for it and he suspected others might not need the legendary either. It was simply a safety net. Looking back toward Erika, Gold gave a small shrug of his shoulders as a small smirk crossed his lips. "Well, you're more than welcome to join me if you want. I don't know who else wants to tag along."

erika watched as nike had begun to run in circles around the ambipom, gently swiping at one of the hands on the other pokemon's tail. it was obvious she liked him and wanted to play with him, and erika shook her head. "you better not blow him up, nike." the girl said with a chuckle, laughing quietly at the way she was play-fighting with gold's pokemon. she was honestly surprised—had zeus told nike that erika was wanting to open up to others, and nike had begun to want the same thing? it certainly seemed like that. when the typhlosion sat down and tried to kick ambipom, she sighed and shook her head again. "nike. don't lick him!" erika scolded the pokemon, who rolled her eyes in return and stood up. hearing gold's voice directed towards her, she nodded, and sat down in the sand. "sure. going with you would be fun. after all, you are pretty amazing." erika knew she sucked at flirting, and giggled softly at her attempt to do so. although her cold sounding voice didn't exactly go with her flirty tone, it was obvious that she still had good intentions nonetheless. erika moved back over to where gold was and stood next to him, eyeing her pokemon closely as she play-fought with the ambipom in front of her. "your ambipom is cute.. when did you meet him?" erika asked with a smile, turning to meet gold's gaze.

amaryllis pumped a fist into the air as she saw azure write down her request, looking straight into her light blue eyes. it wasn't often that she was this happy to have a cloned pokemon, considering she was somewhat against what they were doing. as she watched azure smile, she couldn't help but think of lilith and the way she used to smile at others. it wasn't often that she noticed her own mother smile, so it kind of made the girl happy. she quickly bounded past azure, beaming at her, before running near the entrance of the base. amaryllis's gardevoir looked at her like she was unsure that they should go outside. "we can go outside as long as we don't venture too far away from the base, amethyst." she responded with a nod of her head, walking out of the door and running around the base. usually at the back of it, flowers grew. they were pink, white, and red, all of her favorite colors. usually amaryllis would make flower crowns with her pokemon and wear hem until they feel apart or something. throwing out all of her pokemon's pokeballs at the same time, amaryllis shouted happily, "c'mon guys! let's make some crowns!"

Cubone woke up again, with her stomach in a knot of worry. She didn't know why, but she felt ready to run outside as fast as she could, and never return to her burrow. Maybe there was a predator inside? No, unless they were actually looking for her burrow, they wouldn't see it very easily. After a little while of tense silence, she stumbled up (this time slowly), and crawled outside. Cubone couldn't see anyone nearby, so she got up and waddled a little further out. No one was there. She sighed in relief, but the knot in her stomach didn't go away. She decided that maybe she was hungry, and ate some berries. Was she really up for exploring now? After a while of contemplation, she decides she has to. She promised herself after all, didn't she? She looks around in a random direction and waddles off, hoping that the direction gave some kind of comfort to her still frantic, nervous heart and stomach.

Solgaleo was right, as their eyes were slowly drooping. They knew he couldn't fight against it, but they tried anyway, loosing consciousness, then jerking awake. They lost the fight though, eventually, and dreamed back to it's original trainer. Though they said they forgave them, deep down it still hurt to be left alone with no warning by their only partner, and basically, parent. Solgaleo was given to the admin as soon as the decision was made. They were just a young Cosmog then. Yes, they hated being made fun of because of their height, and yes they did fight tall Pokemon. But if they knew the consequences they would try their best to behave, even if their pride tried to revolt. Solgaleo forced their mind to change on another, happy subject. Like they were stronger now, physically, mentally, and emotionally. They are able to interact with other Pokemon besides the ones at the base, and there is a lot of space to explore and run. With that thought, and many others, Solgaleo fell in a calm sleep. Mostly.

Kif watched as Leo ran off after Solgaleo. He turned, running towards Gold. "Hey! What about Leo! He just ran off into the woods after Solgaleo." He turned back to the woods, where the trainer and Pokemon disappeared, hoping they were alright. Suicune looked up at Kif worriedly, then back to the woods. This was a new dangerous place, and the two could get seriously hurt.

xxxxxHe wasn't exactly sure how he had managed to fall asleep on the boat trip in the corner, still leaning over the edge but upon awakening he had to rush off before he would be left behind. Then again, he was used to doing such. He stayed up late at night most days to work on music with Mel or just train with them outside, but now his life would be changing, at least for a while. He had left his music at home so it wouldn't distract him but still, Mel had managed to sneak on into his bag. The pokemon knew him well enough that she assumed he would use it eventually as music had always been Sol's solace. His place of peace. Running a hand through his messy hair, Sol began to look around, not exactly sure on where to go. Looking towards Mel, he watched as the pokemon began to wander off and chased after it, not wanting to lose them in unknown land.

xxxxxAt Alistair's reasoning, Inese narrowed her eyes before smirking towards him. "Haha. Sure it does. Believe it or not Mr. Scientist, people need sunlight to live, so stop being a little bat and let's go get something from the break room and eat. Outside." The girl exclaimed, grabbing the admin's coat and began pulling him towards the break room. Though she normally avoided talking to others, Alistair was different to her. He kinda reminded her of a pet, one that you needed to force out of its cave to live. He stayed attached to his computer so long, she wondered what he would ever do if all the power were to go out someday. Desperately attempt to get it to work using pokemon electricity or what? At his offer to help her later, the girl nodded. "Sure, that would be great. But later. We gotta get something for you to eat or you'll be the one fainting in battle." She teased before beginning in the direction of the break room.

As he was questioned about the trainer that had taken off, be let a sigh escape his lips. How was he supposed to deal with such? Rubbing his temples, he tried to think of something he could do. He wasn't going to go on a wild goose chase to find one trainer. Besides he had no way of tracking him down. Shifting his gaze to Caitlyn, he quirked a brow in her direction as if to question her if she would do something about this situation. He didn't want to send any of the trainers after him and sending one of the younger champions was out of the question as well. "Could you please go find that trainer? I'm sure you're Pikachu is capable of tracking better than any of my Pokemon can do," he told the older champion. She seemed more than unamused by his proposal, but nonetheless her Pikachu jumped down and took off toward the woods with her close behind. He hated to have someone have to be sent off to look for another, especially since she seemed unhappy about it.

Once the Hoenn champion disappeared into the forest with her Pikachu, his gaze moved back to Erika. It was a bit of surprise that she seemed to be flirting back with him, but he kept his cool. Normally he would have been rejected by whatever girl he was flirting with so it was a bit weird to have on flirting back. He did his best to appear cool and calm though. Before he responded, he looked toward the two Pokemon and watched as Ambipom retreated away from the Typhlosion and scurried over to him. Jumping up onto his trainer, the monkey climbed onto Gold's back and rested his head against the teen's shoulder. "I found him outside Cherrygrove a long time ago. Pesky lil guy back then. Still is," he mused. He never had seen another Ambipom around the area after so he figured he had been released by another trainer and taken up living there until he ran in to Gold that day. The story really wasn't that exciting, but it showed that the two had a bond given that he hadn't switched him out from his team since the day he found him. He had plenty of other Pokemon at Professor Elm's lab that he could have swapped for. Some of them had been replaced by others over the years, but Ambipom stayed at his side.

Leo had to stop to catch his breath. Where had Solgaleo gone? He looked around while he waited for his sides to stop throbbing from all of the running. There was so much dense forest, looking almost tropical, but not quite. The trees opened into a clearing with a small lake. There was no sign of Solgaleo, or any Pokemon at all. Leo let out Audino, since the fairy pokemon was known for having remarkable hearing, allowing it to hear the smallest rustle of leaves from many yards away. "Audino, can you hear Solgaleo?" Leo asked his Pokemon hopefully. The Audino looked confused for a moment at the new surroundings, but saw Leo seemed to be in a hurry. She listened very carefully, and pointed somewhere across the lake. Leo gave a nod, before racing towards the lake. He returned Audino, and let out Archeops. He mounted the dinosaur-like bird and pointed across the lake. "We need to go there, and fast."

Empoleon smiled and only held his fin up, being ok with his mistake."Geez..i'm just forgetful suddenly.." a faint frown came across the girl's face. Normally she wasn't thins forgetful, unless she was super busy..but was the case this time? maybe being around these strong trainers made her feel out of place,but how would it make her be forgetful? Who knows, she just felt kinda bad in a way

“Alright then, kid.” She said with a smirk. “You coming with me or not?” She flicked her tail as she sat down. “Look you’re either going to come with me some mentorshio, and for me to have someone who can fly and aid me, or you go out on your own and try to figure this out.” She snorted, knowing that this was a deal that would be better for the Noibat rather than her. The noibat would have protection, mentorship, and someone who could help obtain food. In return she’d probably get loyalty, someone who could fly to get her diffcult to obtain objects, and companionship. It didn’t seem fair to her, but brat was clueless. Maybe when he evolves he’d be more practical.
