Thranduil stabbed the spider again. It screeched, now furious that the elvenking was winning despite the leg wound. The spider lunged at him with such strength and speed it caused both to role and tumble quite a few feet. He yelped as he landed head-first, leaving him dazed from the sudden explosion of pain.

Basch Zwingli (Switzerland)

Basch dropped to the ground from the tree limb he had been crouched on and looked around, searching for any sign that the spiders might have been there. Tracks, crushed leaves, fresh cobwebs, anything would be useful. He paused as if considering something, then pulled himself to the branches above him. The spiders typically traveled by the trees, after all. He poked around the canopy for a few more minutes before his eyes caught something odd. "Over here!" he called to the rest of the group, straightening in front of a thin trail of broken tree branches.

Legolas looked up and quickly moved over to Basch. He looked at the trail before nodding his head. "Let's move, quickly. This looks like it's heading back in the direction of the kingdom." The Elf straightened up and took off after the trail quickly ((Ack so short sorry))

Gilbert scoffed. "Really? You're getting worked up over Dwarves?" He didn't seem to notice the freak out over his appearance. Rather, he was so used to such reactions they've faded into the background by now. "We are on a mission to reclaim a Dwarven homeland. What did you expect, a horde of Hobbits to come trampling along?" The human rolled his eyes. "And some people wonder why I scoff at Elves and their lot." The last sentence was muttered under the albino's breath, him resting his sword at his side. "So! I heard something about food, ja?"

Basch immediately followed Legolas down the trail, although he was admittedly a little worried. If they caught up to the spiders, they could kill the spiders with ease before any damage was done, but if the spiders gave them the slip and managed to break inside the kingdom, who knew what kind of havoc they would cause? He scanned the forest around them as they dashed through the trees, making sure they didn't pass the wretched creatures.
