Lyra glanced down at her herself and finally noticed the orange tinge to her vision. "Ohhh yeah. Didn't notice that. If I do concentrate I can get rid of the flames." Lyra shut her eyes and slowly let the fire die down this there was just a hint of smoke rising off her. "I'm glad these clothes are fireproof."

He smiled sheepishly. "I'm trying. Here's what I can do so far.." He he stood rigid suddenly, the strain showing in his face. A big wall of vines reached up, 7 feet tall and stretching 5 feet across. When it disappeared back into the ground Chris fell to his hands and knees. "It takes a lot out of me."

" Ok." Rachel replied, now knowing for sure that Chris will be fine. Suddenly, her stomach noisily rumbled " Ugh, I'm starving. Is here anything to eat? Or we should go on a quick hunt?"

"Thank you," she said, flicking a strand of blonde hair behind her shoulder as she picked up her book again and started reading, the only signs of her outburst: her slightly pink cheeks.

Arthur smiled slightly. "I know the feeling. Sometimes I don't notice when I've been underwater for ages," he shrugged. "It really used to freak my mother out. I'd go under and not come back up and she'd be shrieking and by the time I came out of the water, it had been like 17 minutes as she looked ready to collapse."
