Brendon placed both his hands on her. "I'll take care of you, I won't let anyone hurt you." He whispered to her as he pulled up his blanket and wrapped it around her.

Jessica chuffed softly. She felt warm for once and slowly fell asleep. She loved being held and the feeling of being loved by someone. He was her partner and once she was big enough, she would be protecting him.

As Brendon watched her, he slowly pet her head and just watched her.

Jessica slept for quite a while, close to 5 hours. She woke up, stretching out and yawning. Her wings had spread out then slowly draped over his arm and chest. She laid her head right by his collarbone and sighed.

"So do you know how fast you'll grow?" He asked softly.

[Banana Dancer :)]

I'm not too sure Brendon, Jessica answered. She looked up at him with curious eyes till she saw a bird outside the window and growled, lifting her head. Her stomach growled but she was focused on the bird outside.

Brendon could hear her stomach. "You hungry?" He asked softly. "Or did you growl at me?"

Jessica nodded. She was hungry but didnt want to bother him. She looked back at him and curled up on top of his chest.

"What do dragons eat?" He thought as he got up still carrying her.

I'll eat anything, Jessica answered. She curled up in his arms, looking around his house.
