Emma gave a smile "Maybe that is why I take it." she joked, she liked to take the subway it was a lot more fun than taking to bus everywhere or when she was tierd even walking. Once Emma heard his comment about where to eat she sighed and turned back to him "I'm just going to go to subway, I'm sure you can find something to eat there." she thought about what she had just said for a minute and laughed "We're taking the subway to get to subway." she smiled even bigger.

Xander didn't know what was worse, the food or the joke. "Ha ha ha, that was the top ten list worst joke ever." He commented, Subway, Subway? Xander didn't like Subway much..He had an issue where they made the food in front of you, you could see all their errors. "I am going to wait until you have your food to come in. You know how their food prep urks me.." He lost it in there once, and he hoped that manager didn't remember him. Lots of people had conflicts with Xander, so did store, or other managers. I do need to learn a little more self control, I guess.

Emma glared at him when he made fun of her joke "Buy a sense of humor," she groaned as she looked back out the blank window. When he mentioned food she groaned "Oh ya, I forget, you can't watch the foo being made." she groaned. She turned to him, an idea hittind her "You know most people would find it hard to write a list about things they hate, you are one of the... maybe seven people that would find it hard to write a list about the things they like." she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms as she looked at him, she was posostive she was right about this one.

Xander knew that Emma didn't hate him, but sometimes he wondered. "Hey what's that supposed to mean?" He felt a bit offended, then realized that if Emma got offended at everything he ranted about she would be long gone. "...Thank you." What is this? I'm not going soft..Eh, I do have to say this sometime..Might as well give somewhat in today, Xander thought. For someone who never thanked people or praised them, he was a pretty considerate person. This side of him was almost never shown ever.

~ Sarikana Lesh ~

Sarikana Lesh sat on the wall, her legs swinging. She was five minutes early, so it wasn't really surprising that Victor Needleman hadn't arrived yet. Still, as good a partner as Victor was Sarikana was glad she had reached the park before him. She needed some time alone, to sort her thoughts out. She should stop trying to wriggle out of meetings, to avoid him as much as possible. She knew she wasn't being fair. It wasn't Victor's fault that her emotions made it hard for her to be around others. Especially now. This was one of the worst times for her, a time when despair was one of her main emotions. And anger. That was pretty strong for her now, too. It was just as well the gardens were empty. If anyone were to be around her right now, she would probably lose control. Her stomach felt like a deep pit as she ran her fingers over the surface of a rose hanging over onto the fence. Calm. She told herself, struggling not to start sending balls of flame. Fire was her element, and whenever she lost control it wasn't long before she started an infernio. Calm, stay calm. It was hard. But the rose in her hand still hadn't turned to ashes, so she must be managing. She wondered what it must be like to be a Phantom if it was so bad for the Lost Haikajin. It would be worse for them. But as she fought to keep her tears in - crying would be admitting defeat - she decided she couldn't possibly imagine anything worse then this.

Sarikana checked her watch. Two minutes. Victor would be here in two minutes. In two minutes, she would have to stop being so hysterical, and gather herself. Victor. His name snapped at something in her mind, though she didn't quite realise what. All she knew was that she could now keep control over her rage with a relative ease. But that could only mean that another emotion was surfacing. Fear? No, it couldn't be fear. It felt nothing like fear. Ther was only one other emotion she had, though. Love. But that made no sence. She wasn't in love with Victor. They were partners, no more. No romantic implications. He was a human, she was a Haikajin. She had lost all her chances at becoming a human long ago.

One more minute. Victor would be here in one minute. She had to compose herself. Sarikana thought of Victor, always calm. Never panicking, or shouting, or bursting into tears. Her complete opposite. Maybe that was why they had become partners. She wished she could be like that, too. Cool and collected, responsible. Yes, she needed someone like him to keep her balanced out. She really had no idea how some Haikajins could manage without a partner. Perhaps their emotions weren't as pontent and overwhelming as hers were. Then she thought of all those phantoms. Sarikana had always been convinced that it must be worse for them, but was it really? Could it not truly be some sort of a release? No, she couldn't think like that. Selling her soul to become one was just pure... wrong. Evil. Sarikana refused to be evil. Sure she was instinctive, prone to anger rushes in which she was capable of even killing people. But that was what Victor was meant to do, right? Keep her in check? She felt tears streaming down her cheeks. A few more seconds. In a few more seconds, Victor would be here.....

((Sorry SilverDoe, wish I could help.))

Emma smiled, she was winning today. They soon came to there station and she managed to squeeze through the packed crowd. She loved to sit on the subway but when it came to getting off she hated it, to many people packed in too small a space. She was quick to try and get out. She dashed over to the stairs, hiding from the mob, there she waited for Xander. She didn't like crowds or anywhere to enclose, it reminded her to much of how people would attack you back home; they would out number you, smack you till you fell then crowd around you, that was the time when Emma would usually pretend to faint. Never the less she hated crowds.

((Yeah, sorry))

Xander was getting off the subway when he lost track of Emma. The boy got swept away with the crowd several meters down from where he got out. After that, he didn't know where in the world he was. Yet another mob came and moved him even more. "Damn, EMMA?" He tried to make his way against the crowds, it wasn't easy but after a lot of fighting upstream Xander thought he found where he got off. "EMMA?", he called. Then a little kid with some sort of food spilled his food all over Xander's shoes. "What is you problem kid? DO YOU ENJOY PISSING ME OFF?" He lost it, all out rage was going to happen. "It's people like you who move to fast to notice others that make me late! It's people like YOU WHO RUIN MY SHOES!"

(Sorry. I had a little RP flood)

"You have a partner, huh?" Xione giggled, her innocent expression appearing on her face all over again while Khana mewed and rubbed against the side of Xione's head, ruffling her hair and making the blades Xione had to decorate her hair rattle. "And you should probably know that I picked up a little info, and your partner there is what you are inside. If you can't get along with yourself, there is no hope for you, buddy." She said slyly while Khana snickered, her fangs protruding over her bottom jaw. "And you know what else I found out? Your partner there and you share thoughts and wounds. So I'd treat him better if I were you." She said as he stroked Khana's fur gently with her hand, her gleaming smle still on her face as she taunted Ezvar with silent, stil crimson eyes.

Emma looked around wildly for Xander. She suddenly heard some one shouting and then a little kid crying. She just followed the sobbing and pushed her way back through the crowd though she really did hate it. She saw Xander finish yelling at a little boy who's ice cream had fallen onto Xander's shoes. Emma came over, her heart aching, the only thing she hated more than a little kid crying was being able to be held accountable for it. She came over and crouched down so she was at the little boy's level "It's ok, it's ok." she spoke softly and took the little boys hand when he had finally setteled down. "Here. Now where is your mommy." she said standing back up. A very angry looking woman with her arms crossed and another little kid by her side glared at both of them. Emma could feel her face go red, "Here's five dollars. Tell your mommy she can get you another ice cream and that we are very sorry." Emma gave the boy a little guide over towards his mom but then she turned to Xander. "You know I don't like crowds and that is certainly no way to talk to a little child." She scolded, wagging her fingure in his face, a hand on her hip.

Ezvar scolled and moaking his experssion was Devil that flew behind him. He rolled his eyes "I don't need a partner, I can do perfectly fine on my own! I managed myself for eighteen years but then some idiot was stupid enough to kill my girlfriend!" he hissed. He couldn't control anyone elses actions, if they caused hima problem then he had perfect right to take revenge for it. He glared at the girl, why was she still here? He crossed his arms and tapped his foot as he leaned against on of the lamp posts.

Xione was taken back by his defensive tone, his angry eyes. She narrowed her eyes a bit and huffed, looking away from Ezvar with her arms crossed as wekk now. "If you didn't need a partner, then you don't know anything." She said in a huff. "Your partner is your gateway. It's your soul for pete's sake. You can say that you don't need him all you like, but the truth is that you do to get any more powerful." She hissed. "Why do you think he won't leave you?! Do you think he likes you?! Do you think anyone does?! I don't believe that you had a girlfriend. You're a jerk! You're nothing without your power!" Xione yelled, her anger burning in her eyes vibrantly.
