"You startled me. To be honest, I did not expect to see a girl in a tree when I heard the call of a wild bird." Boromir said humorously. He watched her sword carefully out of the corner of his eye. "Who are you?"

Leaning on one leg, Jess sighed, "Well, i think i am Jess. But where or what i am doing s something i find mysterious." she muttered, snapping her gaze back at him, "Where are you going?" she asked, feeling responsible for who ever was in the woods.

"I am travelling to Rivendell." He gave her a confused look. "What do you mean? You don't know where you are or what you are doing?" The grip on his sword was loosened, she didn't seem dangerous.

[myth;]

Shrugging, Jess spun her sword around, "So you are going to Rivendale?" she hummed, slipping her sword away, "Might have to go with you." she smiled slightly, for some reason she knew of Rivendale and that it was home to elves.

Raven looked around. "Maybe if we follow the noise of the water..." She considered for a moment, but just as she was about to open her mouth to say something else, the guard moved out from behind the tree, his bow ready to fire and aimed at Eleniel's forehead. "Halt!" he cried to both strangers, a little nervous. He was young and this was one of his first times on the job.

Eleniel gasped but tried to remain still. She slowly lifted her hands to show that she wasn't a threat.'please don't shoot' she prayed silently 'I don't want to die'

Torra gave her wings a nervous flap. She was aware if the iminent danger and all her instincts told her to flee, however she refused to leave her master in a time of danger.

Boromir paused a moment at this unexpected request. "Are you lost?" He asked, confused at her situation.

Raven was startled, but stepped to Eleniel's side nonetheless. They had only just met, yet she felt they were in the same predicament and they should help each other. The guard wavered the aim of his bow to Raven as she moved, but swiftly brought it back to Eleniel's, as if to say "if you move any closer, I'll shoot."

"Who are you?" He demanded.

Looking around before looking back at him, Jess frowned, "Maybe" she growled, not wanting to sound weak.(WB)

Boromir decided to be straightforward. "And how am I to know you are not a spy of the enemy? You were sitting in that tree watching me, until I heard that bird. ... How do I know you haven't been following me this whole time?" Boromir tried not to sound threatening, but these were dangerous times.

Eleniel took a deep breath to try and calm herself and said "I'm Eleniel and I am fifteen years old. This is Raven. We are no threat, we just ended up here and would really like to know where we are" she poured out in a rush of words, letting out her nervousness and irritation in one big jumble. "Please, can you tell us where we are, and how we got here?" then she added "and please don't shoot"

Iorana mounted Galad and pressed her heels into him. The horse leaped forward into a fast canter, rocking forward to back across the plains. It felt good to have the wind in her face and her hair flowing behind her. Before she could relax and enjoy her moment, she was jolted forward as Galad stopped at the edge of the forest.
"Galad!" she yelled, frustrated. "Just continue on!" He only snorted, prancing from side to side. Rana took a deep breath. Compose yourself, Iorana! she told herself. You'll never figure where you are or where you're going if you're not at ease. She pushed her shoulders back and clucked to Galad confidently. Seeing that Rana wasn't scared of the dark canopied area, the warhorse wasn't either. Everything went smoothly until Galad spotted a few figures in the distance. After much urging from his rider, he continued trotting over tree roots until he reached the people.
"H- Hello." Rana's voice was shaky and unsure. After dismounting and clearing hr throat, she was able to greet the strangers. "I am Iorana Khal. May I ask who you are?"
