Ugh, friends. Who needs them? You think that they like you, then they turn around and stab you in the back, both figuratively and literally. You've heard stories from your lusus about trolls who have betrayed their friends, and you have made it one of your goals to not have your lusus tell one of those betrayal stories with the main character being you.

Speaking of lusus, where even is he? You haven't seen him around, which means he's probably outside sniffing flowers. Ew. Not that flowers are bad or anything (you actually have them all over your hive), but there's so many other things one could do with their spare time other then sniffing flowers.

Like practice sword-throwing. There's nothing better then the satisyfing thud of your sword embedding itself into the wall. You whip out your sword and fling it with precision. Of course, when you're trying to impress yourself, you miss and it bounces off your recuperacoon and clatters to the ground. You sigh. This is not working.

Instead you decide to dig unnecessary objects out of your hair. You only need important things in there, such as a few knives, a bottle of mystery silver liquid, and a spare scarf. What isn't important gets thrown to the messy floors of your hive. An old piece of a shoe, a shriveled-up flower, and an empty wrapper from some kind of "grub nugget" joins the mess on your floor. "Grub nugget"? What the heck is that. Gross. You'd never eat something so nasty. It's probably some cheaply made food for lowbloods who can't afford anything better.

Ew, lowbloods. Just thinking about them makes you grimace. They think that they're equal (or maybe even BETTER) then those of a more privileged blood caste. The hemospectrum is there for a reason, you always say. It keeps everyone in their proper places.
