Ironhide glanced at her, giving her a supportive pat on the shoulder. “Don’t you worry, you’ll get used to things around here quickly. There’s still plenty of bots you haven’t been introduced to, though there are a few who I’d recommend staying away from for a while. The last thing you need is a welcoming prank.” The mech shuttered as he recalled a prank Sunstreaker and Sideswipe had played in him the previous week.

Ironhide nodded with an exasperated sigh. “You remember correctly. It’ll be even worse since you’re a femme. They, along with a majority of the young bots, are going to continuously flirt with you.” He knew how young mechs could be. Especially during a war, when contact with femmes was rare. “Good news is, most of us are old enough to know better or currently committed, so we’ll look out for you.” He smiled.

"Thank you." Nightshade said with a smile. She nervously looked at him. "Ironhide, do you know if...if Jazz is already...that is to say is he...?" She tried to ask, a dark blush appearing on her faceplate.

Ironhide raised an optic ridge, looking at her for a moment. “Committed? I’m not sure, to be completely honest. It’s hard to tell with him.” He gave the younger bot a knowing smirk. “Why do you ask?”

"N-no reason." Nightshade squeaked out, her faceplate burning with slight embarrassment. The sound of something hitting the ground caused her to jump to her peds. She panted, optics wide in fear

Ironhide’s amusement quickly turned into concern. “You alright? I was just playing with you. No need to get nervous.” He said, rubbing her shoulder in a comforting and fatherly way.

Nightshade flinched at his touch as if being zapped with electricity, letting out a terrified scream. She couldn't focus, panting heavily as the panic attack took hold of her.

Ironhide was a veteran, so he knew PTSD when he saw it. He carefully picked up the small femme, carrying her to the medical bay. He entered without knocking, setting the panicking femme on an open berth and explaining the situation to Ratchet. The medic quickly got to work, sedating Nightshade before she accidentally hurt herself. The mechs waited for her to wake, wondering what could have set her off.

Nightshade tried to protest, tried to explain, but couldn't. Not with the fear overtaking her. She eventually felt herself starting to slip into stasis. No! Stop! I can't go into stasis! Megatron...will...find... Her panicked thoughts begged before the sedative took over.
