She had almost fallen asleep when She saw the Skelton brothers walk back in and take a seat. She heard a loud bang behind her to see that EP had hit his head on the desk. She smiled. Maybe this year wouldn't be as torturous as middle school was. She was also extremely relieved that Papyrus was ok. But, she and Sans still had to find out who these people who did this were, and serve some JUSTICE.

It was after class now, and it was lunch.. Papyrus sat alone at lunch, looking around for friends and greeting people, yet he received looks..

Ryse sat by herself with distant look on her face. It was times like these, when she could sit in silence and think. Of course, lunch at a high-school wasn't very quiet and she had retreated into hiding to plot ways to make high-school tolerable. However, Ryse had only managed to imagine what it would be like if she couldn't control her flames. She'd be a general danger to society. Not that society itself was any less dangerous. Ryse shook herself back to the present and wrapped flaming wings around her body. Maybe if she made an acquaintance, this wouldn't be so bad.

It was lunch. After she and Sans got their trays, they sat beside Papyrus.
"Are you OK now?" She asked him as Sans straight up glared at people who have Papy strange looks.

He continued greeting people. "Hello there! My name Is... Nevermind." He said. "I feel.. Somewhat better!" He said with a smile. "Trying to meet friends." He said. He looked around and greeted a few more people, and they either said 'leave me alone' or nothing at all.

Ryse spotted the tall skeleton who had gone the the nurse's and gave him a brief once over before glancing at the short skeleton. Both skeletons seemed relatively harmless. Well. The short one had a weird aura that Ryse didn't particularly like, but she ignored it. The human that was also with them looked nice enough. Looked young, but not too young. Ryse began to wonder why the tall skeleton had gone to the nurse anyway. He seemed fine now.

After a while of silence except for Sans' puns, which weren't up to par since he seemed a bit burnt out due to the events of the day so far, she spotted a Phoenix monster by herself. Noticing this, Sans pointed out, "Aren't you feeling daring today? You've only gotten into one socially awkward situation and managed to have a conversation with someone without freaking out.
She just rolled her eyes, got up, and walked over to the Phoenix girl.
"Hello," she waved, "I'm Kora, I sit in front of you in ELA. What's your name?"

Papyrus colored some stuff in his notebooks, and whenever someone walked by he tried greeting himself yet the still ignored him. "Hm.. Seems like no one wants to be my friend sans..." He whimpered.

He stood up and shook Papyrus' shoulder. "D-do you wanna go to lunch? O-or the nurse?" He looked at the tall skeleton. He seemed relatively fine compared to earlier, but he just wanted to be sure. He didn't like seeing friends hurt.

Ryse looked away once the human noticed her and fiddled with her wings for a moment before a voice interrupted her totally important alone time. She looked up at the human and narrowed her eyes a little. How odd. Usually, people went in the opposite direction of the flaming girl. "Hello." Ryse folded her wings against her back.
"Ryse. Y'know....like rise, but with a 'y'."
She sighed and brushed a lock of flaming hair off her forehead. Perhaps this Kora girl could be the acquaintance Ryse was looking for...wait no. 'Looking' was a strong word for what she had been doing. Waiting for, sounded correct. Perhaps Kora was the acquaintance she'd been waiting for. Yes. Much better.
