Dirk allowed a short laugh to escape past his lips before he stooped down to scoop a handful of cream into his cupped hand. Sticking his tongue out and bringing the cream closer to his face, he experimentally gave it a lick. Tasted like... Cherries? The Texan shook his head to himself and began to construct their fort.

"Don't lick that stuff." Gamzee says and helped him.

Dirk didn't plan on trying it again, cherry wasn't his flavor after all. He Continued constructing the fort, carefully carving windows and placing candy canes in like barring. He smiled slightly at his own handiwork before turning to Gamzee, "Yo' Gam, couldja give me a boost?" He asked, since he was too short to make the fort taller on his own.

"Of course, bro." He lifted Dirk up and grins. "Nice view."

Dirk stiffened for a brief moment at Gamzee's comment, before mentally shrugging it off and coming up with a smart response. Replying, "Get a good look while you can." a smirk appearing on his lips. He lifted the lollipop and finished the roofing on the small fort, "Alright, done." He announced.
