[Well, I added Vega to the little party at Lust's door ^^" ]

|| Vega Dvoryansky ||

A dark corridor, made of frozen stone walls, had a checkered black and white floor as smooth as shaved ice, one could even see their reflection on it. There was no need for torch-lights or candles. Whoever end within it would have no use of any sort of brightness whatsoever. Rather, they would only be blinded and lose their way in the seemingly straight hall. Stretching on and on, it was as if it had no end. Perhaps it was the case or maybe not. Sometimes yes and sometimes no. Such was the twist to the road of the Core.
In the silence that usually ruled this strange realm, a loud tapping echoed in the distance. It grew louder and louder until the source of it came into view. A tall man man, with messy turquoise hair, walked through this chamber, his long black cloak slightly swaying behind him. His jet black horns, which were as tall as his own arm, pointed proudly upwards. They did not reach the ceiling. As a matter of fact, there was none. Only darkness was visible when looking above, even with a demon's vision. Eyes shining amber in the dark, they were like two fading candle lights, shimmering with a fake light.
Vega was the name by which this demon was known. He was the servant of Pride, one of the most demanding of sins, with a fine reputation and a sickening personality. Yet, despite their 'slight' egoism, that person ranked high among their siblings, earning the attention of the High Demon. Thus, again Vega and his master were summoned, along with the Younger Brother, the father of this kingdom, by His Majesty. The topic of discussion was the progression of the preparations for a castle siege. There were quite a few tasty morsels waiting close to the border, yet on the other side. It had taken a long time for plotting and information-gathering, but they had finally reached the conclusion to attack the least guarded target. Although they had enough resources to conquer any of them, it was simple logic to save your strength. Slowly taking bites and then gulping the whole thing up with a ferocious bite. That was the plan.
Finally reaching a door, the demon opened it and wound up on the sleeping quarters floor. Once walking out, the door behind him disappeared, a convenient thing it was. While his master and the ruler had other business to attend to, Vega was told to deliver the current information to Greed, who would have to execute the following orders. However, when he opened the door to the sin's chambers, he found it empty. Realizing it was quite late already, he turned around and walked through the halls, his shoes making a tapping sound once more. As he searched for the rest of the children of this house, Vega stumbled upon a group in front of Lust's door.
"What, if I may ask, are you doing?" the demon spoke in a cold tone.

[I haven't heard back from tainted either:(]

Lust heard Vega's voice and swung around to meet him. Unlike how she did with the other, she knew the two small twisted ram like horns on her was not hidden from this demon. She placed her hands on her his. "I don't know about the others but I'm heading for breakfast. They can go do Greed's little mission." With that she turned and left them heading for the kitchen.

Eureyla turned as she heard footsteps, and at the demon's cold voice, she turned towards Sloth, wodering if her master was going to move anytime soon. Apparently not. She was about to respond when Lust quickly spoke, cutting her off. Not that Eureyla was of any paticular importance. At the end, Eureyla spoke. "Sloth and Lust were supposed to go get souls." She said, mostly emotionlessly, though with a slight stress on 'supposed', giving Sloth a pointed look. Since Sloth had agreed, she should stick to her decision.

Eureyla sighed, looking at Sloth. She finally walked over, sitting to be at the same level as her master. "Sloth? I think you should go now..." She said, looking at her master, wondering if she would heed her words. Sloth didn't say abything, but after a while, opened her amber eyes, lower lip jutting out slightly in a pout. She got up with a sigh and started rubbing her eyes, much to Eureyla's delight.

[Maybe Tainted has internet problems? Otherwise they would have said that they wouldn't be around. I checked the activity of the users currently role-playing here and I'll be sending the updated list to Dead, but I won't take off Tainted from it, since we can not be certain about the cause of their disappearance. ]

|| Vega Dvoryansky ||

Not giving Lust any further attention, the demon ignored her rude attitude and turned to listen to Eureyla.
She was a fallen angel, a creature Vega had a slight distaste for, yet he payed no mind to his personal thoughts. This was a job given by the High Demon, thus it had to be carried out in the most effective way. Colleagues should be judged by their work, not by their origins. For the years that had passed by in this position, the horned being had found the corrupted winged servant to be quite pleasing. She was confident, efficient and ready to do any order at hand, without a tantrum or rudeness. A polite office worker. If the rest were the same as her, Vega would have most likely enjoyed working there.
Once he had heard what she had to say, while Eureyla went towards Sloth, the demon snapped his fingers. He was careful not to make it too loud, since he was considerate of the 'sleeping beauty'. To this call, a few small demonic winged beings appeared. They murmured something in his pointed ears, explaining what Greed had ordered around. Hearing this, the young man wished to sigh, but did no such thing. Taking not another moment, he began to speak, with a less cold voice:
"This being the case, it seems that Young Master Greed has brought upon a bothersome obstacle. We are to continue preparations for the siege that has been scheduled to begin in the coming weeks. The current orders were for Envy and Lust to head north and create an impression that we would attack the post of Nocktern, while Wrath prepared the army here and Greed and Gluttony headed to the Balshoi canyon, near the northern castle of Nocktern, to gather souls. It will be quite a hassle to retrieve those twins and carry out the orders precisely on time. Moreover, Young Master Greed's orders are still ones which carry heavy authority and can not easily be discarded." That had been a monologue of sort. Voicing this out, Vega knew the 'carrier' demons would deliver this information to the rest of the sins sooner or later and, most notably, to Envy, who had ears almost everywhere. Hopefully, that would make the task of bringing the brothers back easier. Now, turning to Sloth, the demon bowed respectfully and spoke in a polite manner "Excuse me for the trouble, Mistress Sloth. It has been two days since your last awakening and there is no doubt it would be a bothersome experience so soon after your rise, yet it is required of you to cross the border to where your brothers currently are, in order to bring them back and gather souls in the mean time for our military's needs. Unfortunately, my master, along with two other of your siblings, Gluttony and Wrath, are currently not available for this task, thus passing the job over to your and your sister, Lust. Pardon this sudden demand, yet the orders can not wait."

Lust growled softly at this point in hearing there was no argument to be made with Greed. She left them and headed into the kitchen and started cooking.

Sloth gently tucked her hair behind her ear and sighed as she listened. The good thing about Sloth was generally that because she was lazy, she generally didn't bother arguing. Of course, not arguing was not to be mistaken as being a pushover, she usually didn't listen. She seemed to be considering it, though at his words, she finally crossed her arms, looking at Lust before turning her gaze to Vega, with a pointed look on her features. Lust didn't seem like she was doing anything, so why should she?

Eureyla decided to join in and help persuade Sloth. "This would be less work than if Greed found out you didn't go collect souls, knowing your personality he might just give you a more troublesome task." She said rationally, looking at the green haired girl. With a huff, the girl finally nodded, and Eureyla smiled. "I'll go prepare the horses, Sloth." She said, before walking away quickly, grateful for Vega's help.

(So, is Vega coming along?)

[Yes, he is coming along. What do you propose we do with these two now? Should we just follow Lust to the kitchen or should we stop by somewhere else before going down to the front gardens?]
