((;_; So many posts. . . I might as well OCC while I'm here anyways. Meh, I'm an amature (Spelling?) writer as well, but I lurve it so much! ^^ Personally, I have never actually written a book, but I do write short stories, drafts, etc. Writing is my anti-drug! Anyways, thanks for the positive feedback on my long post a few pages back, I guess it's alright for a sixth-grader. n.n Crap, gotta go to finish my project. . . I only have about a paragraph to go, so it shouldn't take me too long given the writer's block doesn't kill me on the first few sentences.))

Aysel got ready and rubbed her eyes, Yawning and sighing. She ran towards the lab, oblivious to all else.

((sixth-grader??? Oh my. You're epic. I'm a seventh-grader, though I should be on the sixth. I skipped kindergarten's last year ^.^ In the fourth grade, I published a book. A silly fairytale with 35 pages, full of huge images. How un-epic.))

Alexis ran to the laboratories behind Aysel, soon catching up with her. ''Hey, wait for me!'' she shouted, laughing. She soon forgot about the eerie screams earlier on the morning. She tried to concentrate on the echo of each step they took so she wouldn't start to get all nervous over that Avatar thing.

Geez, she thought to herself. It was just a new body. And a new life. OK, maybe not 'just'. Maybe rather a lot.
Finally. The labs. At last, there they were. Dr. Grace Augustine was there, and she turned around to face them. ''Ah, I've been waiting for you, no matter how cliché that may sound. Are you ready to get your bodies?''

Alexis nodded. The scientist smirked. ''Very good. Here they are. This is Alexis' one and this is Aysel's one.'' She pointed to two large tubes with huge Na'vi alien bodies floating serenely inside them, as if they were sleeping. Alexis frowned.

''They look a bit too old for fourteen years, don't they?''
Dr. Grace just laughed. ''Of course'' she replied. ''Only persons with more than sixteen were supposed to get Avatars, but I think you won't be harmed with two years more.''
Alexis nodded in agreement, but then she saw a boy and a girl coming in (Kira and Ash). ''Hi'' she waved. ''Are you getting an Avatar too?''

((Well, I just remembered Grace died Let's pretend she didn't, she was one of my fave chars ))

Ash walked down the hall quietly, glancing around at the walls. He was pretty sure that the door was up ahead to the left. He hurried up as he heard some voices and got to the door. He knocked on it loudly as another girl (Kira) came down the hall too. "Hi." he said, waving. "Hiya. Are you getting an avatar?" Ash nodded. "Cool." Kira said, and turned to wait for someone to open the door. She hoped that they weren't late or anything.

Ash and Kira nodded. "Yep." Ash said, smiling. "I'm Ash." he introduced himself. Kira stepped forward and glanced around, marveling at the equipment.
