Eddie chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. “Yeah. Our first meeting was...interesting to say the least. How we ended up friends is beyond me.” Eddie gasped in surprise, feeling Venom stirring somewhere in his rib cage. He’d forgotten the symbiote was still within him for a moment. “I’m touched Eddie.” The extraterrestrial said sarcastically. Eddie was thoroughly embarrassed by his reaction, giving Harley a sheepish grin. “Sorry, I felt him move. It surprised me.”

"Interesting." She said. "Wait, you can feel him move around?" Harley looked at him, intrigued. She had never considered where Venom went if he wasn't out. "So how does he survive? What does he eat?"

Tony felt terrible. He didn't think anything too bad had happened that night. He remembered inviting Pete to join the advengers, and his decline.

"Kid.. Im so sorry. I didn't know. Im glad you pushed through it though, im proud of you" Tony embarced the teen in a rare hug, quickly pulling back.

"Ill have to keep a better eye on you, otherwise your aunt will kill me, probally Pep too. " Tony was attempting to get off of the subject, he felt terrible. It was his fault Peter wasn't able to Karen to call for help.

CLINT BARTON

Clint hadn’t been paying Eddie and Harley any attention, instead focused on the second Spider. He had whipped his phone out immediately, shooting Tony a quick, ‘your boy has a double,’ but quickly got eyes on the man again. He seemed very comfortable, in a crouching position but horizontal and looking over all of them curiously. He cocked his head, motioning to his ears again in a kind of exasperated fashion. The guy listed the bottom of his mask so that only his mouth was visible. So he didn’t need both hands to stick to things. That made sense, he guessed, their guy didn’t have to use both hands either.

He said something, but the angle was weird and Clint couldn’t make out all of it. Something about rounding someone up, it looked like. The eyes of the mask narrowed and widened with the dude’s, it looked like, some cool feature that said he was an expressive guy, in the face. Would help if he could see it, though.

PETER B. PARKER

Peter crouched about five feet above them, scoping out the group now that he could see them better. The guy with the quiver looked like he was in his late forties, serious beyond what felt like necessary. The average-looking guy was just that - rather normal, maybe a little sweaty, and the lady with him had an interesting voice, but Peter thought maybe she asked too many questions at the wrong time. Maybe she was just like that with everybody, then. Sort of like Gwen was.

The last guy was just vaguely unsettling, but not in a way that he could pinpoint. He was distracted from the thought by the first guy clearly sending a text and then motioning to his ears and making a face. Peter’d seen Dr. Connors make that move before with one of his interns, either hard of hearing or not hearing at all. He pulled his mask up a ways, just so that his mouth and chin were clearly visible. “So, you guys the freak squad round up, or what?”

Quin shoved her hands into her pockets and she kept on walking, in a panicked manner, as the 'portal' thing had now since disappeared and she hand no where to go. If she hadn't known where she was going, she wouldn't have bumped into a tall man with an ancient cloak on, and she stopped. "I am... so sorry!" she said apologetically, taken aback by her own actions.

He looked up as the man in the red and blue suit spoke to them. “Freak squad? You’re literally crawling on walls and somehow we are the freak squad?” He said in exasperation. Good grief.
