Zachariah blinked, lifting his head from her shoulder and sneaking an innocent glance at every other girl in the bar, as if testing Katarina to see whether or not she would follow through with her drunken threats. He stoppes when he reached the Wood Elf, because that was when she decided to voice her question. He opened and closed his mouth several times, like a fish on dry land, trying to come up with a response, when Katarina suddenly answered for him. He stumbled whenever she turned around, but quickly righted himself before he could fall. "Yeah, what she said. We're not ... We're not together," he said, unable to hide the disappointment in his tone.

"Don't get me wrong." Katarina said and drank more. "I wish I was his woman. But let's be honest here..... who'd want a girl like me huh?" Katarina leaned back on the table.

Za'zah looked at the body. Nothing new to him. The white Khajiit had killed people himself before to hide his thieving.

"It's alright, Za'zah," Za'ji said, giving the fellow Khajiit a meaningful look over her shoulder. "He's a member of the Penitus Oculatus, he only wants to help." She turned the corner and stood a short distance away from the body, admiring her handiwork. Her father would have been proud, the merchant was taken cleanly through the chest, with minimal fallout. "Here's your body, Agent, and there's the paper that's got everyone in a panic."

Za'zah looked at her and sighed. He blinked and looked back at the body. This confirmed his suspicions, the woman he was falling for and would fight fang and claw to marry was a Dark Brotherhood assassin.

Zachariah spluttered at Katarina's words, having took a swig of mead whenever she spoke them. Half of the beverage managed to gush out of his nose, while the other half of it somehow choked him. He coughed several times, trying to get the mead to go down, and when it finally did, he exclaimed almost as loud as he could, that, "Any man in his right mind would want you!"

Auguseethus crouched down and inspected the body. He looked at the arrow and unfurled the paper attached to it. Auguseethus frowned, then sighed as he rubbed the top of his scaly head. He was now 100% certain that the Za'ji was a member of the Dark Brotherhood. Now he just needed to find a way to contain her so he would be able to question her safely.
"Hmm." He said, standing back up. "Yes. I suppose I will inform the guard that the body is safe and that they may move it."

Katarina looked at him. "Yeah right. Name one man that truely knows me that would want me." She said and drank more.

"I'm sure we'll all sleep a little sounder in our beds now that the good men and women of the Riften city guard are on the case. Incidentally, what was on that paper? I never got a good look at it."
