Emma sighed, "fine, i suppose if i did slow it down and attack it i would use too much energy. but if it moves at the speed of light, would it not catch up to us as soon we lost sight of it?"

Eleven went backwards a little faster than Jack, yanking Tristin and Sasha along. "Angels don't usually move that fast unless absolutely necessary. It uses too much of they're energy." He called to Emma. "And yes, being attacked is enough to get them to move that fast."

"Besides, it can't move that fast. At least not in an atmosphere, because at that speed the friction created would cause a massive fusion explosion." Jack said, still backing away slowly.

Natalie had heard the words and knew she'd be the first to die, as being the most inexperienced and youngest. She held her knife infront of her like a bat. She slowly backed into Jack and swung on him.

Jack was forced to take his eyes off the angel as a crazy woman swung a knife at him. "Woah! Easy, there!" Jack said, grabbing the knife-wielding wrist. "We're the nonviolent type here." He glanced at Emma, then sheepishly at the Doctors, who had often berated him about excessive violence. "Mostly, but that's not really the point."

Eleven noticed Jack's attention on the strange girl, and began searching frantically with his eyes for the angel. "Jack!" He yelled. "Where did it go?"

Tristin nearly started freaking out when the Angel disappeared. He was prone to severe panic attacks when exposed to dangers he is unsure how to deal with, and tried to calm himself. Whirling around, he spotted the creature near the edge of a forest. "There!" He gasped, trying hard to breathe properly.

"Keep your eyes on it, Tristin." Jack said quickly. "Stay calm." He refocused on the woman whose wrist he was holding. "I suppose if we're going to do this we may as well get around to introductions. Hi, I'm Captain Jack Harkness, and who are you?"

"It turns to stone when it's got eyes on it right?" Emma asked, before waving her hands in front of her card maker as five cards popped up. She tossed them into the sky, "Rune Magic: Eternal Eye." she said, as the five cards made a large eye that was staring directly at the angel. 'that one took quiet a bit..' she thought to herself, looking at the others she said calmly, "there is now no need for you to watch it, as it now has eyes on it until I am out of range."

The Doctor grabbed his hair, tugging on it sharply and making sure Tristin was still watching the Angel before turning back to Emma. "I said someone looking at it, not something. It's only stone if something living is looking at it. Now can you please stop trying to find was to undermine this alien which you obviously don't understand the concept of so we can get away from it?"
