Legolas nodded in affirmation; he was willing to aid anyone in the Skyrim company now that their two groups were allied together in one common purpose; to go find their missing comrades. He headed over to the elf Saelweth, Arod trailing behind docilely, and helped the former up onto the horse.
"I apologize for the lack of reins," he quipped, smiling slightly, "but I am not quite familiar with riding in that manner." He hoped the slight jest wouldn't go unheard or misunderstood.

He mounted in front of Saelweth and glanced back at Aragorn and Gimli, then at Vanya, who was evidently the leader of the Skyrim company. "Shall we go?"

Saelweth chuckled a bit "you expect me to believe that" she said she was happy to have someone riding with her as she didn't think she'd be able to ride on her own she'd likely hurt herself.


Vanya nodded in acknowledgement "we will follow you" she said

Aragorn nodded at her and headed off after the orcs "hopefully we can get to them before nightfall" he said

Vanya and her group rode after aragorn with Hadvar and ralof behind her it wasn't really difficult for them too keep up. Ahkari seemed to be riding the white arabian that saelweth owned.

"uh huh sure I do" Sigebreotch said not exactly believing her and mounting his horse


((i'm still failing at my posts O.o geez if i could find someone to play aragorn properly i'd have them help me with him. O.o perhaps we should have group run into matilda and Sigebreotch.))

"You even have a ghostishly horse!"
Matilda's brows furrowed as she reached down to pick up a rock; testing its weight in her hands before promptly hurling it at Sir-denies-that-he's-dead. She was gonna prove herself right because being right was great.

Legolas gave a small wordless murmur of amusement at Saelweth for her returning joke, saying afterwards, "Hold on tight." He glanced out over the clearing once more, noting the distance of the orcs, and quickly nudged Arod into a trot, then a canter, and soon his horse was galloping with long loping strides across the Rohirric plain. Aragorn was right; they should be able to reach the orcs by nightfall.

(Yeah, they should meet up with them ^-^

Saelweth held onto legolas before speaking "i worry about my father he's quite old and I am afraid he will say something to get himself killed he doesn't exactly think clearly when he's surrounded by enemies" she said

Theodred seemed to be keeping up with group though he still had his hood on he hadn't yet felt like introducing himself and he seemed to be riding right next to Vanya it was surprising that no one had noticed him yet.

Ahkari managed to keep saelweth's horse under control as they rode hopefully they'd get to those orcs in time and rescue their friends.

Legolas's jaw tightened visibly as he carefully checked Arod's gallop to a slightly slower gait. They were approaching the orcs at a far faster pace than he had realized; but then again, their mounts were swift and enduring, and their going was uninterrupted. Still, he was inwardly concerned; he had been able to clearly see the orcs from afar, but up close their ranks still looked huge despite the previous battle.

"We can only give ourselves to hope, then, for a while," he finally murmured in response to Saelweth, feeling himself tense as his worries grew.

(Should we run into Sigebreotch and Matilda now?)

((yes they should and perhaps a sort of introduction to my dragon character but they won't meet the dragon character until later also i'm probably gonna end up being smaug.))


Saelweth knew he was right about hope she looked around catching sight of something that looked like a large flying golden animal flying rather low it looked like a dragon and one that she knew perhaps the large gold scaled drake that she'd befriended when she was younger had followed them hopefully it was indeed goldenclaw and not another aggressive dragon but as soon as she had seen the creature the dragon had used it's magic to cloak itself and turn invisible so that it wouldn't be seen obviously the animal did not want to be seen.

Aragorn slowed down seeing what seemed to be a spectral rider and horse it looked an oathbreaker he looked over the area and saw matilda who seemed to have rock in her hand it was an odd sight seeing an ancient gondorian rider and his horse and girl who looked like she had some skill in battle.

Unlike Saelweth, Legolas had not glimpsed the great golden dragon that had soared above them; but he had felt some sort of shadow pass over his mind. The presence had not felt friendly, but there had been no sort of menace within it, either; but when Legolas looked up, he did not see anything. He was a little disturbed, now, but shrugged it off and did not let himself show it.

Eventually, two small figures seemed to materialize into view just before them; it had been so abrupt that he had been startled and even jumped a bit, causing Arod to whinny restlessly. One of the figures appeared to be a female, but the other was strange and wavering; he could hardly see it against the faint grass.

"I see two persons ahead," he called, suspicion in his voice. "They are definitely not orcs, but they are not the captives we seek, either."

(So sorry, was extremely busy today. Whole day marching band really drains your muse~)

A pout was visible on her face as she glared at him, throwing rocks didn't work. Fair enough. Not that it was her best idea. Convincing someone that they're a ghost was apparently hard.
Matilda glanced over her shoulder in a moment of frustration, only to be meet by the sight of people in the distance. Superb.
She doubted they where there to watch someone argue with a ghost, her pout turned into something that was more of a scowl.
