Arelus swore in his head. This girl was smarter than he thought at first. Normally the guards bought his lies, but, of course guards as a rule were pretty stupid.
"You honestly think I carry around one arrow?" He asked. "I would look pretty stupid with one mismatched arrow in my quiver."
Ugh, that sounded stupid. He needed to ne clever if he was going to prove to this girl he wasn't an assassin. And that would be hard, considering he was wearing his assassins' armour.

"Yes. It's perfect for something, like, murder. Whilst avoiding suspicious thoughts from the guards. Because yes, no one would go around with a miss matched arrows!"
Jordis retorted, oh she had him now. The magic in her hand crackled viciously.
"I bet you kill people often, don't you? The Jarls should hire smarter guards; how someone dumb as you can avoid getting caught is beyond me."
She was trying to push the right buttons, she despised assassins, and she'd happily kill him if he was one.

"You know what, maybe I did kill that man." Arelus stated, drawing an arrow- ebony this time- from his quiver and quickly loading his bow. He pointed it at Jordis.
"If you raise your hands I'll shoot." Arelus growled.

Jordis glared at him, the lightning spell still sizzling within her hand. They where both sorta stuck, she figured. She would do her best to roast him alive if he even dared show any indication if firing, and she didn't doubt he'd shot if her hand even raised in a tiny movement.
Then it dawned on her.
She was challenging a assassins for the Divines sake! What was she doing?
Jordis felt fear creep across her spine, the bravery about to leave her.

[Sperophim]

Arelus laughed. "What's wrong?" He spat tauntingly. "If you make your spells go away or whatever, I'll put my bow down and we can tall like people.

"Fine." Jordis' brows furrowed as the lighting disappeared from her hands.
"So, my good sir assassin. What do you have in mind?"

[Sperophim]

Arelus put te arrow back into the quiver and slung his bow over his shoulder.
"Well..." He said thoughtfully. "If you don't turn me in, I won't kill you." Arelus smirked, as if he wasn't going to keep his word. He planned on keeping his word , atleast untill he got a job that said he had to assassinate her.

"And how do you know I won't?"
Jordis questioned, "For all you know, once I'm gone I might give someone a tip"

[Sperophim]

"I have friends." Arelus explained. "And they will know that something went wrong if I don't come back, and they will find me, and then I will hunt you down, and when you think your safest, I will kill you."
He smirked again.

"I wonder how someone as daft as yourself has friends." Jordis cooed, her hand reaching for her pouch; and gripped tightly around a bottle, pulling the cork off before bringing it forth. It was a good sized invisibility potion.
"See you around then." Jordis gulped it down, the effect happening nearly instantly.
