Mirabelle's heart sank at Skylar's words. She had a point, she knew, but still - Mirabelle had seen Vivienne interact with Audra before she passed. Vivienne had seemed almost like a different person - kind, gentle, and caring to a fault. With everyone else, she was just cold, cynical Vivienne. But with Audra... Mirabelle knew that person had to be in there somewhere. She wasn't ready to give up on Vivienne just yet.
'She still has that inside her. That rage.' Skylar's words haunted Mirabelle's mind. That comment could have just as easily applied to her, she realised. She knew how blinding pain and rage could be. At one point in her life, she herself had been in so much emotional distress that she wanted others to feel her pain, so that maybe, finally, they would understand it. I nearly killed my own head counselor that way. Perhaps that's what Vivienne wanted - after all, if she truly avenging Audra's death as she had promised all those years ago, she must've seen it as justice in her own twisted way. Maybe all she really needed was for someone to understand what she was going through.
Jamie's voice brought her back into the present moment, pulling her out of her turbulent thoughts. She nodded in agreement with him, flashing him a grateful look.
"We'll never know if we don't at least give her a chance," Mirabelle finally added. "Killing her outright would make us no better than her, or Khione for that matter. But if it comes down to it... If we have to... We should do whatever we must be done to protect everyone." By everyone, she not only meant the camp and it's inhabitants, but the mortals living in the state of New York. Including her father. "Remember what Chiron said - try to reason with her first. Monsters may be solely evil, for the most part, but people are not. There is a mix of darkness and light inside of all of us."
Her piece having been said, Mirabelle fell quiet and listened to those around her. One thought plagued her mind, however. Could I have done what she has done? If it had been Chuck or Delilah who was killed, would she not have done the same thing? Would she not have blamed everyone had there been no one to blame? Would she not have fled the place she deemed responsible and vowed revenge?
Mirabelle had no true way of knowing, and it disturbed her.

Leaving the dining pavilion behind her, Juliet figured she'd go plot some capers near her cabin to pass the time. She also wanted to spend some time with Romeo, perhaps let him out to play in the snow again? He had seemed to really enjoy it the previous day.
She was just starting to near the ramshackle cabin when she spotted something odd out front. Was that a... gryphon? It didn't look like any that she'd seen - the Greek gryphons were smaller and usually black in colour. They reminded Juliet of hyenas a bit. But this one was absolutely terrifying. Red-gold fur, twice the size of a lion. And those feathers... they seemed to possess a fine cutting edge, not unlike daggers. If they were truly as sharp as they looked, Juliet would have loved to get her hands on some. That being said, she might lose a hand if she tried plucking that oversized chicken. Wait - was that a gem it was guarding? Her fingers itched to steal such a sparkly item - judging by the cut, it had to be worth a decent amount of money at the least. Now came the real question - was it worth it to be potentially mauled to death by some giant beast? Huh. Maybe I should run this by Who, just in case. If they were going to get away with stealing it, and ideally, some feathers, then she would need at least one other person to aid in the caper.
Quietly so not to alert the great creature, Juliet snuck back the way she had come. She slowed her pace as she reached the low building of the Poseidon cabin. She stiffened as the salty air wafted past her when she walked up to the entrance, but otherwise showed no sign of her paralysing fear of the ocean. She knocked on the door - shave-and-a-haircut pattern, of course - and waited for a response from within.

In his haste to find someone who could potentially help the dryads, Chuck made the mistake of running on the snow. His cloven hooves weren't exactly suited to the cold substance, however. One quick step sent the satyr sprawling across the ground. He ended up flat on his butt for the second time that day. As he dusted the snow off his pants, he thought he could make out a familiar figure exiting the Dining Pavilion. The Demeter head counselor, or so he thought. Like, perfect! Maybe they'll be able to help out or something. Carefully this time, Chuck started walking in her direction.
When he neared Yuno, he waved his hands to get their attention. "Like, hey there!" the satyr bleated out. "Uh, I know you're like, probably busy or something, but do you have a moment? It's like, super important."

Zahra followed the young magician to the stately building, again silently admiring the soaring Greek columns. The sound of many voices rang out as she crested the hill. It seemed the demigods were in some kind of meeting - most likely concerning the troubles they were dealing with, she reckoned. Amidst the crowd, she could sense Set's chaotic energy somewhere close by. "I thank you for your aid, Jay," Zahra whispered, at loathe to interrupt the proceedings. "Now, if you could kindly point me in the direction of the Host, I would be most grateful."
