Amber sat up as she awoke to loud thunder like sounds. Her ribs only hurt slightly as she stood up to look out the widnow. There where titans everywhere, she did a same gasp not knowing if she was excited or terrified. She looked around to find herself completely alone. "Auberon" she called for in a panic as she grabbed her gear and a new gas tank. Why was she left behind, why hadn't she been taken with other wounded she thought to herself. Was Auberon out fightng without her, questions rang through her mind. Amber went to the roof hoping to find someone. "Lost little girl" she mumbled to herself.

Auberon had woken up to the sound of roars echoing from the city. Titans? Have they actually breached the walls? If they have, shouldn't I be there fighting? Auberon had grimaced, rubbing the back of his head for a second, looking behind him at the quarters that held the recovering Amber. With only a moment of hesitation, he had started up his gear, heading towards the city with a grim look on his face. That's right. I have two reasons to fight now. As humanity's soldier and as Amber's knight. I will hold them back. I will no longer let fear control me.

Now, Auberon found himself in a dangerous position. His gas had run out a while back, leaving him to run over the rooftops. Sooner or later, Auberon knew he would run out of room to run. He'd only killed a few Titans so far, and he had no doubt in his mind that there was at least one after him. He was right. As he attempted to jump across a gap between buildings, a Titan rose up from below, biting off a good portion of his left leg. With a skid, he came to a stop on the next building, pressing his hands around what was left of his leg, blades discarded. He probably wouldn't need them much longer as it was. Heh, if I'd known it would end like this I probably would have made sure to see her one more time. Amber, I think this is it. My path, my story, has come to an end. Captain Levi, I'm sorry for not being a better soldier, a better member of the family. Hanji, you were wacky and unusual, but you were a lot like a big sister in a way. Amber, there's so much I would like to say to you, but I'll settle for just one. I love you. Auberon closed his eyes, preparing for what he believed was the end.

Amber looked around on the roof top, when she saw a few yards away Auberon. She watched as the titan bit his leg off. Tearrs formed in her eyes then a scream began to to build in her. In a furious anger she took off to the titan. "Titan" she she screamed it cold cold and brutal. She shoot her gear in the mouth of the titan and headed down to the stomach in a mad attempt to reach the leg. She finally found it in the stomach acid and it seemed intact. She stabbed the titan through its stomach and uswd her gear to up herself up splitting the titan from the stomach up to its jaw. This is why she had been placed in Levi's squad she was the only one who could be eaten by a titan and get out alive. She had the ability to get in and out. Amber slung herself out of the somewhat fallen titan. She was cover from head to toe in blood and stomach fluid. She ran to auberon, "I got you, got you" she said a picked him up. She carried him so his leg wouldn't lose more blood. "Sorry" she whispered and placed his leg on him so she could carry it. Then she jetted back to the infirmary where she found a sewing set and pain killers. She gave him some pain killers the went to work on his leg.

Auberon opened his eyes, barely able to see the people around him as he fought to remain conscious. "Captain Levi.......did I do well?" When he saw Amber, he smiled weakly, speaking in a shaky tone, "Hey, Cinderella. You're......you're late to....to the ball." As Auberon was being carried to the infirmary, he let himself sink into blissful uncosciousness. He knew it would be okay. Humanity had the greatest soldiers to defend it, and he had a chance to survive. He probably wouldn't be quite as handsome, but he'd survive.

Amber watched as a medical team arrived, she handed auberon to them and then his leg. "Fix him" she growled, she then turned to the city. Her body shook with anger, "im gonna to end them. Every last one" she yelled, her knuckles white from gripping the blade. She looked to levi then took off, being covered in blood made her look like a red blurr.
