Jazz nodded, slowly and carefully getting to his feet. “Cliffjumper, can you scout ahead? Make sure Starscream and Deathclaw have left the area?” He asked. Ironhide came to his side, slinging an arm around the smaller mech’s shoulders to help him stand.

Ironhide nodded to Nightshade. “Come on now, don’t be shy. I’m sure the others will be happy to have a grown femme on base. No offense, Tink.” He said, shooting an apologetic look to the younger Autobot.

"Sure. If I see any of them, I'll just blast them back to the holes they crawled out of." Cliffjumper said with a grin before running off.

"None taken. At least I'm the only twin who acts more mature." Tink said with a shrug.

Nightshade smiled, a ray of hope within her slowly growing. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad becoming an Autobot.

Jazz started to limp forward, Ironhide helping him along the way. “Let’s get moving then. I’m sure Cliffjumper will catch up once the area has been cleared, and without access to my alt. mode it may take us a while to get back to base.”

It was Ironhide’s turn to smirk now. “You are going to get chewed out by Ratchet for ending up in the medical bay again, but you should really be worrying about what Prowl’s gonna do to you.” Jazz felt his face plates grow hot. “Tink, how bad did Spitfire take it when I didn’t come back?” The special ops. agent asked, changing the subject.

"She insisted on coming along with us, but Optimus convinced her to stay which isn't easy. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a melted part of the Ark because of how upset she was." Tink said before looking over at him. "I know she won't say it just so she can keep up her tough attitude, but she does care about you."

Jazz shook his head with a frown. “I’m sorry I made you worry. I shouldn’t have taken you two with me, at least without backup. Just think about what would have happened if it had been Megatron we bumped into...”

Seeing that Jazz was able to move easier and easier as they went, Ironhide fell back to walk beside of Nightshade. “Out if all the Autobots, only Jazz would find a friend while under the worst of circumstances. I don’t know how he does it.” He smiled.

"Hey, don't think like that. Sure we got ambushed, but we're still online and that's what really matters." Tink said, placing a hand on his shoulder.


"I guess I was just at the right place." Nightshade said with a shrug. "But he is lucky I saved him when I did."

Jazz forced a smile. “Hey, counting those Decepticons I now have five bots that actively want to kill me.” He joked. “The question is, who’s gonna get to me first.” The Ark was in seeing distance now, the sight of it comforting the mech.

Ironhide nodded, growling with disgust. “I can believe that. The Decepticons they encountered are known for being sadistic, especially when handling Autobot captives. What I wouldn’t give to teach Starscream and that fleabag a lesson!”

"Probably Ratchet." Tink replied with a sigh.

Nightshade nodded silently in reply, fearing what he would do if he knew she was once a Con.

The minute they entered the base Jazz found himself being whisked off to the medical bay by a furious Ratchet. He was kind of glad Ratchet had found him before Spitfire, or Primus forbid Prowl, had gotten to him.

Ironhide watched Jazz her ushered off to the medical bay before turning his attention to the two femmes. “He’ll probably be in there for a while. Tink, why don’t we introduce Nightshade to your sister? I’m sure she’ll want to know how Jazz is doing anyhow.”

"Sure, Hide. Come on, I'll show you around." Tink said, leading a nervous Nightshade off towards where her twin was.

"I don't like this." Cliffjumper grumbled, folding his arms. "So we're just going to accept her like she's one of us now?"
