His head snapped in the direction that the loud roar had come from, he jumped to his feet, grabbing his sword and jumping over to the female, pulling her up and glaring where a moving shadow was in the trees.

Othelia grasped a hold of Fenris as her pulled her up, then turned and quickly swung out her weapon, the double ended sword shining underneath the suns afternoon rays. Watching closely, she watched a dark form move through the trees, little smaller ones following in suit. Darkspawn. She knew it, she had seen them before. But this, was a horde of them. More calls were cried out, the number of them growing.
"Run." she hissed to Fenris as she jumped onto of a nearby stump to get a better look. A massive ogre burst through the trees, snapping them in half like twigs. Numerous darkspawn spilled out between the bushes like ants, hundreds covering the ground in a black plague. The ogre turned and sniffed the air, catching a whiff of their scent.
"It knows where we are - go!" she hissed again and leap off the stump.

Fenris bolted near here, sweeping her off her feet and carrying her in a bridal style, ignoring any protest that the female would male. "I'm faster than you," he grunted deeply, getting swiftly away from the creatures.

Taken by surprise, Othelia nearly dropped her weapon, and held it awkwardly as Fenris carried her, careful not to pierce either one of them. Raising a brow and flashing him a teasing grin she commented, "Well look at that. I've found a knight in glowy armour." With a playful wink, she turned and looked away, listening as the darkspawn horde noisily made their way across the river. Despite rather having run herself, she wasn't going to complain.

"I do not glow," he answered with a grunt, getting farther from the creatures and finding himself getting deeper and deeper into the forest. Nevertheless, he didn't care.

Othelia let out a small chuckle and shook her head.
"Alright then, have it your way." Soon enough, the darkspawn where far gone and Othelia managed to wriggle out of his grasp, doing a front roll and standing up. Yawning she stretched out her arms and her back, "Well that was very riveting I must say." Playfully she twirled her double edged blade in her hand, and began to walk circles around Fenris, "What made you decide to be all heroic like an all huh?"

"Being torn apart by Darkspawn is not a fate anyone should endure." the male answered, fixing the sword on his back and crossing his arms firmly over his chest, olive green eyes scanning over the female that was walking around him, much like a wolf.

Grinning like a fool now, Othelia piped up, "Annnd what makes you think I would let myself get torn up by those foul creatures?" She pointed her blade at him, the stuck it in the ground, placing her hands on her hips.
