I bit my lip against an angry retort. Who did this girl think she was? I raised an eyebrow as well, looking over at Fang with an understanding and very annoyed look. "And I could probably add some reasons onto his," I added, gesturing to Fang. I noted her spreading her wings and hoped she would be taking off. The flock would definitely not like her or her egotistic personality.

Kirose nodded then smirked. "Harsh, but appropriate. Well, until next time." She closed her eyes, and the ground began to shake. When she opened them, a series of harmless explotions erupted around the house, seding up dust. "Gotta love that power." She muttered, before launching into the sky, flying high over the house. She circled it quickly before heading back through the trees.

"Talk about a dramatic exit..." Fang said once she was gone. So if she had powers then the other avians probably had powers too...if they were even real. Then he turned to Max. "Think we should check the area...just in case she was telling the truth?" he asked her.

MAX

I raised an eyebrow, exhaling a deep sigh through my mouth. "I'll say," I said bitterly, then turned my head to look at Fang. "Yep," I answered, smiling a bit. I turned my head back and spread out my wings, shaking them out in relief. I crouched slightly, not feeling like a running start today.

[Nautica]

Fang looked back to the house, where Nudge was looking at them through one of the windows. He gave her the signal for "be right back" which was holding up three fingers and a thumb. Then he spread his massive, pitch black wings, took a small running start and leapt into the air. He pulsed his powerful wings until he caught a draft of air and rose slightly to make sure it flowed under his wings to make flying easier. He kept his intense gaze aimed at the ground, looking for any sign of a camp or a group of some sort.

MAX

I watched him for a moment, my eyes appreciating his dark wings, his powerful downstrokes. He was truly amazing, in flight and on the ground. I shook my head and refocused, quickly spreading my wings and pumping them down, launching myself into the air after him, catching the same draft he had, rising with him and soon drawing so that I was flying above him and to the side. "See anything?" I asked, glancing down at him.

"No," Fang replied, then something caught his eye over by the cliff. "Wait. Check out the cliff to the left. Is that just a pile of rocks or is it something else?" he asked, coming up to level with her as he shouted over the sound of the wind. He looked over at it again, but all he could make out was a dark spot against the sandy color of the stone.

((Got held up by relatives. Should the other Avians notice Fang and Max now, or should Max and Fang come down to them first?))
Iggy and Gazzy made it back downstairs to hear... nothing. They had noted the explosions and so were surprised at the lack of fighting noises. Iggy heard Nudge sigh. "Max and Fang left. Apparently there's other Avians nearby and so they're going to look. The one that was here was pretty rude. You were looking forward to blowing something up weren't you?" Iggy was sure she had noticed the explosives in his and Gazzy's arms by now.

"Dang," Gazzy said, "I was wanting to blow something up."

I watched from inside the house, all the time clutching Celeste close to my chest. I couldn't totally hear what they were saying, but I saw their mouths looking and promptly noticed that Max was not going to listen to this girl for that much longer. Suddenly there was a lurch in the house and some smoke filled the kitchen and I started to cough. "Gazzy!" I called, wondering where they were. Total came out of the basement and shook himself off, some parts of him still smoldering. I rolled my eyes and then turned back to Max and Fang. They were flying away now. What had that avian told them? I longed to search their minds, but i knew that they wouldn't like that, so I didn't.
