Royce frowned once he realized he couldn't find her. Perhaps she was late or something, he thought quietly as he leaned against a wall, not feeling very social at all. He crossed his arms as he watched everybody chat and eat with eachother.

Phoebe took another sip and yawned, then walked around the ballroom. A random old stranger came and asked her to dance. She politely accepted and began to waltz, hoping, no, praying someone would come and drag her away from the old man. She was trying desperately to hide the distasteful look on her face.

I walk up to my betrothed dancing with the old man, "Excuse me, may I steal my betrothed for a dance?"

Phoebe watched as the old man walked away grumbling. "Thanks for that"Phoebe said with a slight smile "So, I am guessing you're the prince I have to be wedd by, huh?" She asked.

"Yeah, don't act so disappointed." I joke, "At least until you get to know me."

"I've been disappointed sence this thing started" Phoebe sighed and crossed her arms.

"Believe me, I understand. I wasn't exactly ecstatic either." I say handing her a glass of wine.

"I was pretty far from it, too" Phoebe said taking the wine, she took her other hand and touched her finger tip of it and moved it around and a sound came out slowly, it was peaceful.
