Her arms went in a blur and poked him.... everywhere. She ran away and staopped a few yards away watching. She growled playfully.

So that's how you want to play it. he thought, a grin stuck on his face. Carelessly, he bring a back flip and jumped over her head. When he landed he was directly behind her and he poked her quickly onh the back before taking off. "Cmon, you got to do better than that!" he called as he headed for the trees.

Was that all a dream?

Backpack slung carelessly over her thin shoulders, Carina absently walked back, seeing yet not seeing everything at the same time. Yesterday's events still tumbled around in her head as she absently rubbed at her back. She got a few scrapes and scratches from hiding behind trees so much, but it was nothing serious... at least, she hoped it wasn't. It didn't hurt, so that meant it was okay, right?

A soft sigh escaped from her as she hefted the bag higher up on her shoulders, even though there was nothing in it. In fact, Carina didn't know why she was carrying it in the first place; her homework was done, her errands were all complete and there was no use for it anymore. Maybe she just felt like it? Or maybe she was so distracted that she didn't even realize what she had done until after the fact. Heh, this was strange for her. Despite what others might think, she was always paying attention around her, to everything and everyone. But today, her thoughts were all in a jumbled mess. She'd almost tripped on her way to school! As a general rule, Carina never tripped. Never. Nein. Nicht. Nada. Not happening. But today she did, because of all this new information about vampires and werewolves and whatnot. Were they actually real? Had she really witnessed that fight between them?

Dark brown eyes momentarily darted towards the woods. She knew that she shouldn't go back, but curiousity still pulled her back into the dark, mysterious trees. Carina had tralalad off to the woods tons of times before and never encountered any problems, so why now? Why here? She was all confused. And then, there was that one question, the question that determined whether they were friend or foe.

Was this a blessing in disguise or a curse upon humanity?

She appaered right in front of him and poked his head. She turned around and shot off in a blur. In seconds she was gone.

Jeff blinked, catching himself from crashing into a tree. Not Bad. he thought, darting through the trees. A faint smell of human stopped him in his tracks, what was a human doing out here? He raised his head, and took in a big wad of air. It was a female girl, who...wasn't to far away. Maybe about a hundred feet of something. Now he looked toward the direction Gale had ran. Should he run after her or investigate the human? But even if he ran after the human, how would he tell Gale? Or if he choose Gale, what would happen to the girl? Desperate, he thumped his fingers against his side and then let out a whistle. Luckily, Gale could hear it.

((Sorry, I was at a sleepover/birthday.))

The silver wolf stretched out his legs, a yawn forming on his lips. Adam always felt closer to himself in wolf form, like that was who he was suppose to be. He slept looking like a wolf, roamed the forest in wolf, and did most things in wolf. His human form was just his tool to go to town and talk to humans. His black paws thumped as he set a run for the town that his forest surrounded, the pair of jeans he had worn yesterday in his mouth.

Smells of human entered Adam's wolf nose as he slowed his gait. His yellow eyes peered out of the darkness, out of the thinning trees. He set his eyes on a teenage human girl. If he were human, Adam would have chuckled. Why is was that human girl one of the wolves was fond of. The one that stumbled to the battlee yesterday. What was her name? Oh right, Carina. He snorted, his ears twitching before he crouched down and took small, silent steps toward the girl.

The wolf paused, and slowly his front black paws became hands, his back paws did the same. It wasn't pretty, or painless, to changed in between forms. It wasn't like in books, where there once was a man then a wolf. No, your bones shifted into diffrent places when you whished to changed. Few minutes later stood Adam. He stood there, just panting. After stretching his arms, Adam lazily pulled the jeans that he 'borrowed' from a human around his size on.

"Ah, Carina." He called out, reaching the human girl. "Where are you going?" The alpha asked, his gaze calm on her. The faint tint of yellow faded back into his normal brown human eyes.

Decided that Gale could find by following the whistle, he ventured closer to the human but kept his distance. It wasn't until he smelled the Alpha Wolf right next to the girl that he paused. What was the wolf doing with a human girl? More interested than ever, Jeff hopped closer but not much closer than he was. He certainly didn't want a battle, not when it was over nothing but to fight. But he did want to be able to get a brief idea of what was going on.

"... oh! Um, hi..." At this she trailed off, looking away a bit to the right, a small blush on her cheeks. Why was she blushing? Definitely not from embarrassment; Carina did not get embarrassed, thank you very much. No, the reason was because of what happened yesterday, and the fact that she'd almost made one of his wolves leave the pack, and she really really didn't want to face the man after all that. "I have no idea," she stated plainly before tearing her soulful dark brown eyes away from the ground and up to meet his own. "Sorry about yesterday, I think... not because I'm not sorry, but I don't know if you're angry at me, but I don't like it when people are angry at me so I'm just apologizing now in case you are... yesterday did happen, right? It wasn't a dream, right? Cause if it was then you probably wouldn't know my name, unless someone told you it, but then it wouldn't explain why your face seemed familiar... are you like the leader of the..."

And at this she trailed off, her eyes not focused on his eyes but his general face this time. It still felt weird saying 'werewolf' and 'vampire' out loud; after all, up until yesterday she wasn't even aware of their existence. "The leader of the... thing?" the girl finished weakly, giving herself a mental slap in the head.

Smooth. Real smooth, Carina. He'll probably kill you for speaking too much now, she thought to herself gloomily, her eyes once again fixed on the ground between her feet, afraid of looking up, partly because she was afraid of him and partly because she was afraid of his reaction.

Adam shook his head. "You have no reason to be afraid. I have no business harming you, well yet." He added the last part with a shrug. He didn't lie. Adam had no idea if he woul hurt this girl or not. Right now he didn't, but you never know. "Yes I am." He said, refering to the leader question.He nodded again. "Yes it was real Carina." He said. His eyes flicked off of her to her backpack. "Shouldn't you be going somewhere? That thing you call school? And not off into some trouble?" he asked with a slight hint of a growl. He turned slightly, and actully sniffed the air. His human nose wasn't the best, but it was better. Adam sighed, "Vampire, don't try to spy on me." he said in a nutral(sp?) tone.

Gale sat in a random tree above and hopped on Jeff. She sat on his head comically with her goggles put back on. She looked at Adam and riased an eyebrow.
