-Kai-
He smiled with relief when she did walk in, even if it was a fair bit late. He listened to what Professor Quisenberry had to say then put his things away and sat down away from Emily. She appeared to have a made a friend, either that, or quickly found a boyfriend. Either way, he didn't want to make her feel anxious with him around her, so he sat down three people on the other side of Luca who she sat next to. He threw a quick grin at Luca to say 'Hey' and then looked back at the Professor who was explaining how they were going to get to know one another. It would be interesting this class, for that Kai was sure. He'd never had anything like this happen before, not even on his and Emily's first day of Hogwarts.
He just hoped they didn't have to do any writing or reading. Emily's eye-sight had never been great and now she was refusing to wear glasses. Incredibly stupid considering anything, but he hadn't stopped her. It was her decision, after all.
-Emily-
She smiled again when he almost fell over. "You really have to learn when not to do stupid things," she giggled.
She entered the room beside him and puzzled over Professor Quisenberry's idea of a lesson. Nonetheless, at least she was missing out on work, so she happily sat down next to Luca at the table. She sat with her feet cross-legged under the table, watching the teacher but noting some movement in the corner of her eye. She turned and saw Kai, her older brother. She blinked and looked quickly down at the table. 'Of course,' she thought. 'I forgot he was in my class.'
She decided not to worry about it and watched the Professor as she announced what they were going to do. Emily was all too happy to enjoy a pointless but fun lesson, she was very tired from only a couple of hours sleep the previous night, and relaxing was the second-best thing to actually sleeping.
She took a quick look to see what Luca was going and saw that he was suddenly very tall. She was surprised, till she saw he was sitting on his knees. Shaking her head and gently grinning, she turned back to the teacher, feeling happier than she had in a long time.
-Stellar-
She reached the classroom before anyone else and almost left but Professor Iglehart was already there and beckoned for her to sit down. Scowling, she did so, but as far to the back and as close to the door as possible. She hated the very idea of being close enough to hear what was going on. She pulled out her 'zine and started reading again, ignoring most of the other students in her year as they filed in, mostly trying to sit away from her.
That's when Ally bounded in and shouted loudly, "Stellar! There you are!"
She sat down right next to her and forced her to put her magazine down. "What?"
"How could you not come and try tag me?" Ally asked, pouting. "I waited for ages."
"I was hungry," Stellar said and tried to go back to reading.
"I had to miss out on lunch because of you," the incessant girl continued. "It really wasn't nice."
"A lot of things in this world aren't 'nice'," Stellar muttered.
"What?"
"Class," Professor Iglehart started. "You will now be starting a new topic about..."
But Stellar had already zoned out of what he was saying. She knew she should pay more attention for thanks for him helping Ally to shut up, but she didn't feel like learning today.
((Haha, last post for today. Enjoy. ^-^ ))
