Kanika looked at the brilliant halls that were painted with gorgeous hyriglyphs(sp fo sure!), but they hadn't all filled the walls yet. She couldn't wait to see them fill with great stories though.

Bastet spotted a few rats not paying attention to the walls. She picked up a few of the rats by their tails. Akins made a lunge towards them, but Bastet stopped him. "These are for your brothers and sisters. You have already ate. "Kanika, this is all. Just show me to my room and you are free until I need you again," Bastet said emotionless. She didn't know what she would do without Kanika, but it wasn't in her character to show gratitude.

Kanika nodded and showed her to her room and then went outside to see her ocelot in the deep of night.

cleo wandered the hallways staring in amazement at everything she passed

Bastet opened the jar of Egyptian cobras. "Here my loves," she said dropping in the live rats letting the snakes loose around her room. They were tame and she could call them back with her flute.

Lapis walked outside where she saw another servant (Kanika) with an ocelot. She figured that she was most likely a servant from a visiting family. "That is quite a cute ocelot. What is her name?" Lapis asked the girl curiously.

Kanika jumped and saw Lupis she calmed down a little, "Anya."

"That's a cute name," Lapis said smiling. "Who are your masters?" she asked curiously.

Serku looked out from the window. He spotted two servant girls talking. He sighed, girls were better than nothing... He walked over to then, "hi."

[Skylarr.]

"The Sahars family. Yours?"

"The Tuts family," Lapis answered Kanika. She then noticed Serku. "Oh Serku, hello. What are you doing out here?" Lapis asked him. Even though they worked for the same family she hasn't talked to him much lately.
