Emerald smiled as he sat up and she reached up with one hand to flatten out a piece of his wild hair. "Good morning." she said softly. Her tired but happy eyes searched his handsome face. She got lost in his eyes of golden honey for a moment, but when he smiled she could tell something was wrong. Her smile wavered. There was the hesitance again. Why was he always so guarded? What made him like this? She searched his face again, not just because she enjoyed looking at him but because she was looking for answers. She was so lost in thought she almost didn't hear him speak, but she did. She got that warm fuzzy feeling again when he said her name. His voice was so deep and charming yet rough at the same time. It made her feel like she was floating, like she was glowing. She closed her eyes briefly and enjoyed the moment. When they opened again she could tell something else was wrong. "You okay?"she asked, concerned.
