"What's it like back in Arizona?" North Dakota asked. He was one of the coldest states, behind Alaska, so he doesn't really have deserts, so he was curious to know what it is like at the southern state's place.

[aseling]

"Well, Most of my history is surrounded in mystery and dirt not much was known about my first tribe of Natives, the Hopi Indians, Hohokam, and Tohono O'odham and much others, even the westward expansion, had been covered by the dust. No one really knows much of my past but I never talk about it. I was one of the farthest places the US had battles against the Confereation and I wasn't even a state yet. But other then my history, my weather in summer is hot, but the winter, spring and fall is pretty cool. Their is desert as far as the eyes can see and I the one of the only states with saguaro growing in it," She finished.

North Dakota looked at her "What were you before you became a state?" He asked, the cold wind blowing his hair into his face.

Arizona stoped, "ummm well err," She said trying to find away to say it, She never talked about it, "Well I was kinda one of Spain's territories," She said.

"you don't seem like your very happy about that you used to be a Spanish territory" North Dakota said "Did you like being a Spanish territory, by any chance? Or do you prefer being a American state?"

[aseling]

"Muh, I still am a little angry with America, and Spain, but whatver," Arizona replied. She sighed thinking about the old native tribes but pushed the thought away, "so what about you? what's your history?" She asked.

[sorry for not replying all day! I was busy, forgive me xD]

"Me and South used to be just Dakota territory, so we were just two representatives of one territory, until we finally got to be our own states. But if you want to go really far back, the land of north Dakota was settled by native Americans thousands of years ago. The Europeans in the 18th century came and explored the area, and traded with the natives that were here. You can see it doesn't have the most interesting history." North Dakota answered.

"Hey I like any states history," Arizona said with a smile. Arizona did not know what else to say, She took a deep breath her noise stinging form the icy cold.
