Avatar: The Last Airbender {Accepting Semi-Lit RP}

He looked over at Kala in relief when he realized that she was an airbender, and maybe, just maybe, the others would think that she had been the one to make the blizzard stronger. Cioke looked impassive though, so his face wouldn't give away that he really was the current Avatar of today's world. He was suspicious of anyone who wasn't on his side, or of strangers, because he couldn't tell right away if they were part of the Royal Bandits. "You're an airbender Kala?" he asked, pretending to be surprised. "Were you the one that just made this snow storm stronger?" Cioke looked at her in the eyes, not looking at anyone else. He then looked over at Marina with the corner of her eye, wishing that no one would give him away.

Kaia was going to protest and tell him he was mistaken, but the look that Solumb gave her shut her up. "Yeah, sorry I guess I'm not too experienced yet. It was probably when I went flying through the air..." Kaia had been taught at the airbender temple that only the Avatar would be able to hold up peace and bring balance to the world, so she already knew who the Avatar was, but if he didn't want her to say anything than she wouldn't. Kaia sighed and plopped to the ground. She gave the girl who was speaking down about herself a glare and stood up. "You really believe that? If you think that than so will others! Practice makes perfect now putting yourself down!" Kaia wasn't sure if the others had heard what the girl mumbled, but she sure could. Being an airbender had its perks, plus Kaia had good hearing.

Marina looked at Cioke, blinking, showing that she knew, but wouldn't tell. Her eyes sparkled against the white snow, illuminating her face. She pulled her cloak closer, shivering in the freezing, unmerciful wind. She looked at the group. "Come." she said, knowing that they couldn't last long in a blizzard. "And stay close." she said, thinking that she would lead them to an underground cave where she practiced.

Cioke was a little satisfied that Kala did cover up for him, and show it in the slightest smile, and then it was gone. He clearly knew now that most everyone knew that he was the Avatar, but he still wouldn't confirm their suspicions, because it would have been stupid and unsafe to do so. And he would rather be safe than sorry. He then turned back to Marina, confused why Kala had reacted so badly of what Marina had said, which he didn't really get himself. "No fighting," he told them in an authoritative voice, thinking that it was no time to begin to fight amongst themselves. "Why don't we take the flying bison Marina," he suggested to her, knowing that it would probably be much quicker than on foot.

Marina nodded, hiding her partial fear of flying. She hated flying, but would get through it. She smiled at the group, and said confidently, "Come on. We have to get there before the blizzard gets even worse." she said, squinting as a fresh wave of snow blew towards them, pushing her hair into her eyes. She motioned for the girl with the bison to lead the way, not knowing the animal, and especially not wanting to frighten it.

Kaia nodded and scowled slightly. She really didn't want to put up with a girl who only pushed herself down, but since the Avatar asked her to get along, she obliged. Kaia motioned for the group to follow her as she approached Hana. "Okay everyone just get on the saddle on her back! You won't fall off when we start going, just don't hang over the edge." With that being said, Kaia jumped up and used the air to land on Hana's saddle. She turned around and held her hand out to help everyone on.

Marina walked towards Kaia, sensing that she didn't like her. She followed, reaching out towards the girl taking her hand, climbing up and sitting on the saddle. Watching silently, as Kaia helped other people up. When i said i wasn't very good must have upset her. Marina thought to herself. I just need practice. She thought, like Kaia had said. She sighed and looked at the girl. "Your'e right. I do just need practice. That's why i come out here every day from the village." she said, smiling at the girl.

Cioke pulled his cloak and coat around closer to him, trying to keep out of the wind and snow, and put the hood from both his cloak and coat over his head. He quickly put on some wool mittens as he followed Kaia to flying bison, Hana. He quickly jumped on the bison gently right after Kaia, hoping not to frighten it. "How old is she?" he asked Kaia in curiosity, having always been fascinated with these unique animals. He also hoped to distract Kaia from disliking Marina as she got on with them.

Once Kaia helped one of the girls up, he reached down again and waited to help someone else up. When the girl spoke, Kaia turned her head to show her she was listening. After the girl finished, Kaia smiled and said, "Well that's good and..." she hesitated, "I'm sorry about blowing up like that. I just hate to see others put themselves down when everyone has so much potential to to good." Kaia sighed and looked down before adding, "What I said wasn't exactly a 'nomadic' thing to say." Kaia couldn't help but chuckle at how she wasn't acting like an airbender should, but that was most of the reason behind her leaving. Kaia turned her attention to Cioke and smiled, "I got Hana when I was six so she's ten years old." Kaia patted Hana's head and said, "She's been with me through thick and thin."

May stood quietly, watching the others. As they climbed up onto the bison, a creature which she had never seen before, Maya beamed. "She's beautiful," she complimented to Kaia, stroking the soft fur of the bison before sitting back onto the saddle next to the others. "It's sweet that you've had her for so long," May added, "I've never seen a flying bison before; never been to the Air Temples either. What are they like?" she asked, her eyes wide with curiosity as she gently tilted her head, wrapping her thick coat around her tightly. "I met one Air Bender before, and the Air seems absolutely amazing to be able to work with. If I wasn't a naturally born water bender, I'd love to be an Air Bender." her eyes flickered to Cioke; did he know that she knew who he was? She was sure he did.. but why wasn't he revealing his true self? She frowned ever-so-slightly, before turning back to Kaia.
