Julianna gazed up at Veronica who now threw knives at a blindfolded little girl. Biting her lip she felt her heart anxiously speed up from watching. Julianna's neck hair prickled as she felt the gaze of someone on her from behind, slightly turning her head to the side so her peripheral could catch the person she noticed a man with a cloak turn his head away. Arching an eyebrow before turning back around Julianna wondered if she was just imagining it, or had that guy really been staring at her? Shaking her head she looked back up at the performance, feeling her hand slightly twitch. Earlier when on of the performers asked who would like to come up and join Julianna had also feel it fidget then. Her heart desperately telling her: Go on what are you waiting for? but her mind tell her otherwise. Sighing Julianna could not watch the performance any longer without subjecting herself to public humiliation and possibly be caught for what she was..... A Freak. Spinning away she pushed through the crowd and headed down the dark street to wherever she could sleep tonight, her small cottage was not an option for various reasons and the forest wasn't a good one. Thinking of that subject made her think of Kisharu and how despite their many differences they were one in the same. Julianna as a young girl and been walking through the woods before her powers even arose,night was falling and she had lost her way on the trail. Howls pierced the air and even with the moon high and bright in the sky, Julianna could not make out the dark shapes that were wolves. All of them gathered around the small girl hungrily baring their sharp fangs and snapping at her heels. Julianna shrunk to the ground frightened of what would come when a large snarling beast flew down in front of her and raising it's hackles fought off the many wolves. After many years when Julia finally discovered her powers she realized that Kisharu had been the beta of the pack and could see fault in harming her, after that night he was banished from his family as Julia had been from hers. Roaming alone now Julia and Kisharu realized that, they didn't need their families they had each other and that was just fine by them.

"Of course I do!" called Veronica to whoever had spoken, turning in their vague direction. She couldn't see, of course, because she had a blindfold on, but she assumed they were a worried bystander. "There's nothing to fear!" She turned back to the wheel and threw her remaining three knives, the tips of which embedded themselves in a perfect triangle around the young girl's small face. She turned back to where she thought the voice had come from, still blindfolded, and said, "I am a warrior, after all." The torchlight gleamed off of her silver hair, and the celtic vine Tells running from the shoulder to the wrist of both arms glinted blackly in the shadows.

Faust inhaled deeply, and let her breath out slowly as the knifes didn't hit the poor child. "Alright..." Faust said, trailing off. This was the girl's freakish talent, and she was a performer, so of course she knew what she was doing. Brushing away a stray hair, Faust continued to watch. "And if anything, I could always heal the child, so it's fine..." Faust muttered quietly, reassuring herself.

Veronica pulled off the blindfold and bowed, smiling as she held out the tied scarf she had been wearing to hold her silver hair out of her face. It was tied and two ends, kind of like a bowl, and the coins clinked together as they fell in. The young woman smiled again, bowed again, but discreetly emptied the money into her dagger sheathes, which were deeper than they needed to be so she could hide her coins there as well. She smiled as she went up to the girl on the spinning wheel- Carlie- and unstrapped her. "There you go, Kid," she whispered. "Thanks for your help- tonight I'll have bread and cheese, perhaps." She smiled broadly at the crowd, whispering out of the corner of her mouth, "Practically a feast!"
