Mayia stepped back and lowered her head. "I-I'm Mayia Hikamaru..." She said quietly, almost whispering. She was trembling quiet a bit from being so close to some other creature. He could be anything, and she had absolutely no knowledge of the world she was in at all. She had never been away from this house, and she was beginning to feel so trapped. Hunter turned and narrowed his eyes into the distance. "Master has returned..." He said, using a low grumbling from the pit of his throat to get his message across. Mayia flinched and turned quickly, running to the end of the path and looking forward, the fear in her eyes very clear. A large, burly man came up the path with his mule behind him. "Welcome home, Master Barlow." Mayia said, bowing graciously, hiding her shaking because Barlow had ordered her to. The man Mayia called Barlow looked around the house and glared. "You haven't done the chores I left for you." He said, his tone deep and aggressive. With a nod. Mayia stepped aside. "Of course... I'll get to those right away, Master." She said, trying to get out of Barlow's line of sight. She was shaking very much. Punishment was always a little bit harsh on Mayia. If she didn't do all the work she was supposed to do in the time sh was given, she wasn't allowed to step inside of the house and was to do even more. She was basically a slave here, and there wasthing she could do about it..

Soul got up, sending a small smile at the girl who had helped him, and walked away. He didn't like to keep himself in one spot for very long. Walking through the forest, he remained tense, fearing that the Redds were still hiding in the shadows. After a good ten minutes of silence, he relaxed slightly and walked a little slower. He began to hear a faint singing that was growing louder by each step that he took. Eventually, he found a girl sitting on a mushroom of all things, singing. He remained silent and watched her with suspecting eyes. He didn't trust anyone.

Mayia watched while Soul walked away and got to her work the second he was out of sight. She sighed and got to cleaning up around the house that was crafted inside a still living tree. She had all the leaves where they should be and kept everything as neat as she could so nothing would undo itself. She then began harvesting the vegetables from the garden. It was the last chore, but it was also the most troubling. Hunter helped by carrying the baskets for her. It wasn't something she wanted him to do, but he wouldn't let her do this by herself. Barlow was cozy in his home and then mule was asleep in its hut. Mayia and Hunter were the only ones awake in the area.

Natsume continued to trudge through the forest, muttering to himself sourly while glaring from left to right. When he was sure that there was no one around, he launched himself into a tree and laid back, puling his hood back and letting his tail out. His black ears and tail stood out from his silver hair. He still didn't understand how his brother had black hair and white ears and tail. It was so dumb... It made no sense to him...

Hakuro let her tail hang from the tree branch and stared at her hands. When was she going to ever be happy again? She use to be happy and glad all the time. Now she has no reason why she is the opposite of what she use to be. She just wish one of those puppets come around so she can taunt them to death.
