He laughed before speaking. "You never know what could happen." He said. "One time I had to get stitches in my hand just for catching all the papers falling off my desk."

[aseling]

"paper? really?" Lilly said biting her lower lip trying not to laugh. She also felt sympathetic for him although that has never happened to her, "I've been short by a man before," Lilly said.

Sam:
he nodded. "So have I but i'd rather not talk about that." then he smiled again. "It hurts doesn't it?"

[aseling]

Lilly did not reply after the second question, her gaze dropped down to the table not meeting his gaze. Lilly felt like she knew his question and stayed silent.

Sam:
He frowned slightly. Then the guy with the food came. "One chicken teriyaki and one salad. Enjoy your meal!" "Thanks" sam said. "Anyway did you know I have a sister?" He asked unwrapping his fork from his napkin.

"Thanks," Lilly muttered softly, She took a deep breath and calmed herself, "No, I did not," She said with a soft smile.

Sam:
He smiled. "I do. She lives all the way in new optain though so I never get to see her much." he said as he began to eat.

[aseling]

"I see," Lilly said. At least your sister is alive Lilly thought.

Sam:
He finished his meal and waited for Lilly to do the same. When the waiter came he gave him his credit card and paid for both meals kindly.
