Eve bit her lip and looked down untangling herself from him she stepped back.

Jake walked in the bathroom, silent. He closed the door, and peeled the gauze off.

Eve ran a hand through her hair, she didn't understand why she'd done that, looking back at the pillow she leaned against the wall and slid down to the floor thinking about the gun -Why did Jake have it?-.

Jake stood quietly looking at his wound in the mirror. I'll just wait for her to leave he thought, touching his stomach with saline.

Eve looked over at the bathroom door and sighed, standing up she walked over and knocked lightly on the door "Jake? You hear me?" she asked quietly, she tried to explain it the best she could "I'm sorry, I was shocked when you said that" she said thinking back to what he'd said. Turning back to the present she bit her lip "I'll go" she said walking towards the door.

XJake opened the door. "Eve, wait." he walked over to her and held her hands.

Eve stopped and turned to face him, looking up at him she bit her lip "yeah?" she asked "What is it?" she said softly. Feeling tiny little shocks traveling up and down her arms.

"Eve... you are the most amazing girl I have ever met."

Eve sucked in a breath and stared at him she felt her heart jump into her throat. She tried to think of something to say but her mouth wouldn't cooperate so instead she smiled and kissed his cheek.
