Meanwhile Basch was cuddled up in blankets in his little cabin, the room only lit by a candle. It was a bad idea to have a light at all but the truth was, he couldn't stand the dark. He could easily protect himself with his now fully loaded shot gun anyways. He had fled to this cabin after being chased by a 2p that he could not see, and after they got distracted by something else, he ran into this abandoned cabin not far away from the van.

"i can paint the car when we find your friend ... we still need to move these burgers to get the paint can's anyway." Konoha pointed out softly, his eyes darting around to the outside of the van, his shivering getting worse and worse as he could hear soft whispers in his ear.

The American's gaze traveled outside, watching the silvery rain propel down to the ground. "That's a good plan. We're starting to get crushed by these burgers." Alfred mumbled with a small smile as he heard the cans rattle in the back. He looked to Konoha as he shivered against the driver's seat. "Is something wrong Konoha? Are you cold?" He asked from the back of the van, his mind snapping to something catching his attention in his peripheral vision. Far back into the trees, past the untamed bushes, he could see part of what looked like a log cabin. Little trails of smoke from a chimney at the top spread through the skies. "Hey- look at that cabin! We should pull over here, if we can get these doors open with all this food in the way." The blonde said with an adrenalized look in his eye. The small house didn't look like much of a walk either.

The boy jumped at the question, but weakly shook his head. "n-n-no, i'm not cold ..." he murmured, soon trying to look for what Alfred saw, seeing only the small bit of wall that poked out from the tree's of the log cabin. "alright ..." he replied, now starting up the van and carefully starting to drive toward the cabin.

Out of nowhere, a large mint coloured bunny landed in front of the van, with a Gilbert + bird on the back of it. Gilbert looked in bad shape, and was hardly moving. He fell off the bunny's back and onto the ground with a thud, with Gilbird twittering angrily on his head.

Konoha flinched at the sight, his eyes shrinking and his eyes shifting yellow for about a minute while he sat frozen. Elizabeth, on the other hand, scooted through the burger's and opened the van's side door - about half of the burgers on her side falling out as she hurried out of the van and rushed up. "GILBERT!" she said in a panic, her voice still soft and raspy, even when she screamed - making it somewhat indifferent between when she spoke and when she was panicking. She tried to see what was wrong, shaking his shoulders lightly to try to get him to move.

Gilbert opened his red eyes and looked up at Elizabeth. His left arm was bloody, and one could make out that carved in his arm was the word "non-existent". "Hey, was it you that sent the bunny? They were thinking of ending my life tomorrow but you let me live another day.."

"Gilbert ... im ... im so sorry ... i ... i" she stammered, now getting teary eyed as she sniffled. She started to break down, rubbing her eyes constantly to try and wipe the tears away, but no matter what she did, they just kept falling. "Gilly ... i ... i thought i'd lose you, when i heard that you were still trapped back there ..." she stammered.

He watched her for a moment and then smiled. "But I'm right here! You haven't lost me at all!" He then tried to sit up but his back was in too much pain and he fell back down. "I'm afraid I might need to be carried..."

She sniffled slightly and gave a light nod, trying to help him up - but since she was too young and small, her little rabbit friends hurried up and tried to climb under the prussian, lifting him slowly on the cloud of mint bunnies. "y-your right ... y-your too awesome to just die like that and leave me without my best friend ... r-right?" she smiled weakly to him, her eyes still teary as as soon stood beside the cloud of bunnies that held Prussia now.

Hearing this - Konoha's heart seemed to stop in place, his eyes staying shrunk and yellow as he began to tremble. 'best ... friend? ... but ... i thought ... I ... was her ... best friend' he thought, soon freezing as a crazed smile twitched to his lips. 'i-i'll make her remember ... i'll make her remember ... who her REAL friend is!' he thought darkly, his hair slowly turning black from the top of his head, down to the tips of his hair - the small circles on his right cheek turning yellow to match his eyes.
