Kaleb grinned at her remark, watching the man stumble back towards the tavern, probably for another round of rum. He placed a hand at the base of her back, where her voluptuous skirt began to flow towards the floor. Gently leading her back into the palace, he glanced sideways at her once they passed through a passageway that led to one of the main halls. "You know, since we'll be wed in two months, we're going to need new living arrangements. I have a strong hunch that my father had instructed a palace to be built for you and Zerrick. But it's you and me now, so.. I suppose you'll have to do with me cramping your living quarters." he said, giving her a small smirk.

Kaleb smiled sweetly at her playful response, then ducked to plant a quick kiss on her cheek. "But I'm here now, and you'll be stuck with me forever." he said, the smile spreading into a wide grin. "Two months, can you believe it? Wow.." he said as they rounded a corner. Before they knew it, the two of them would be married and living in a palace of their own, free from their parents. But the list of responsibilities would never be over. The public eye would be focused on the newly married couple, waiting for any news of little tiny royal babies. Kaleb wasn't ready to be a father. He was eighteen, and although he knew there were servants to personally take care of them, he felt as if any child of his and Rena's should be carried up by only him and Rena. But anyway, that was far in the future. Too soon to be thinking about. Or was it? His parents were probably thinking about it right now. Especially his father. Shaking his head from the complicated thoughts, he took a turn down the hall, leading his bride-to-be back to her room. "Now, did you say earlier that you wanted to take a walk in the gardens? I'm sure we could relocate that spot that was so brilliantly beautiful last night." he joked, watching his fiance closely.

But she was only eighteen, almost nineteen, just like KC. She smiled at him as he talked about the garden and smiled sweetly at him.
