While Rachel was cleaning her catch with her now washed hands, a loud noise interrupted her... <A crow!> she thought and as fast as a lightning, she got an arrow out of her quiver, loaded it in her bow and turned in the direction from which came the loud noise. The girl quickly spotted the big bird in the shadowy area of some trees nearby and aimed at it. But the bird didn't look like it wanted the rabbit - it was more like it wanted to get the girl's attention " Huh?" Rachel mumbled to herself, not understanding - usually crows would be willing to steal the meat <What in the world is that bird trying to do?> Rachel thought and lowered her bow, not letting go of the arrow. She came closer to the tree where the crow was standing on and stared at it " What are you doing?" the girl mumbled, mostly to herself and decided to stay on place until the bird would do something

Maddie gave a small and quick nod and the wolf sped quickly. Shadow silently, but at lightning speed, got the rabbit and went back to his master. She gave a smile and patted lightly. She gave a slight caw, almost similar to a crow's and Fletcher soon flapped his wings and went into the sky. Maddie gave the catch to Shadow and he clamped it in his powerful canines. The two soon turned their back to the girl and they ran off without leaving a trace.

Rachel was staring at the bird, her curiosity growing stronger, when she heard another 'caw' noise coming from not really far. Then, the weird bird flew off in the direction from where the call came from " Huh?" the girl muttered to herself and tried to track the flying creature away when she remembered about her catch <Oh God, I left the rabbit!> she thought panickingly and turned around, only to see that her lunch was gone " What?!" Rachel exclaimed, refusing to believe her eyes. But her curiosity about the crow got the better of her " Urgh!" she angrily growled, turned around and ran in the direction in which the bird flew off
As she ran in the way from where the 'caw' noise came from, Rachel spotted someone in the distance - there, about 8 metres away from her, stood a girl. She seemed to be around her fifteens <Uh? What is she doing here?> Rachel questioned herself, surprise seemingly showing on her face " Hey!" the girl called out towards the teen in the distance, hoping she will notice her " What are you doing here?"

Maddie froze and shooed her wolf away. Then she turned her voice in the direction of the voice, "Uh... Well, I'm just going back home. I was lost, but I got a call from my... Uh, mother! Yes, my mother." She said hastily, "She sounded worried, I really should be going. Bye!" Then she dashed away without letting the girl respond.

Rachel didn't believe a single word that escaped the girl's mouth since she started talking. But before she could even react, the teen ran away in the distance. Without wasting a second, Rachel ran after the other girl, without letting a sound escape from her mouth, hoping the teen won't notice her

Madison ran quickly, Fletcher above her. Soon he swooped down and tried to attack the girl that was chasing after Maddie. Soon Shadow came up beside her with the rabbit in his teeth. Quick pants escaped from both the girl and the wolf's. She saw a cave up ahead and dove inside, feeling pain in her leg. She soon crawled, with the help of Shadow, over to shelter where the girl couldn't see Maddie.

While she was chasing the girl, Rachel tried her best to avoid the claws of a bird that flew above her... and what a bird... she looked up and... " Wha?!" the girl exclaimed - tat was the same bird she saw earlier. It was seemingly with the teen. After she managed to look away from the big bird, Rachel saw the girl she was chasing was no where to be found. She tried to figure out where the teen went but it looked like she lost her track or she found a hiding spot. A good one. <Where in the world did she go?> Rachel questioned herself after she shooed the crow away with one of her arrows. Then an idea came up to her mind - she could use her hunting skills to track down the teen. Rachel crouched down and looked at the ground - there were the girl's tracks. And some other creature's...
<A wolf?> Rachel thought, puzzled - you wouldn't see a random girl with wild animals that could kill you somehow beside her everyday <I'd better be alert> she noted, got back up and began tracking the traces down slowly. At final, she came near their endings - in front of somekind of a small cave. The girl couldn't see anything but decided to not give up " Hello?" she called out loud enough so she could be heard a meter away from her standing place " Will you come out? Come on, I won't do you anything bad, I promise! Please?"
